Does this run ontop of windows as an extra process along similar lines as colinux or is it actually only the linux env running as the OS communicating with all of the hardware etc?

I have recently came into possession of an old Jornada 720, and since windows CE no longer delivers support I am considering installing an open source OS. I have a couple of questions if I may: Does Jlime support Java? I would need it to install a couple of programs that also use the internet. What about the wifi capabilities? Does it support the wifi adapters? MSN, yahoo messenger, PDF?

Please, read the documentation on Jlime Winter web site. There you will find the details about how to install Jlime in your HP Palmtop. At least you need a Compact Flash. These are cheap.. around $5 .. and you need a compact flash reader as well (also cheap).
