I hate EASPORT..... i want NHL 12 in PC.... why can not realise for PC??? I play EAGAMES NHL since 5 years old.. and now i can't... i Hate easport... I dont want spend may mony for PS or xbox...
They should also fix the goaltender fighting; as a center in the EASHL, it pisses me off to take a penalty every time the noob goalie wants to fight. You should give the user the penalty, instead and prevent him from goaltending for 5 minutes. Why should I take all the crap from it !? FIX THAT, PLEASE. Isn't it the EA SPORTS hockey league ? You guys can do it.
Nice intro. You should add collectable NHL cards to NHL 13, just like in NHL 2002 and NHL 2003. Not cards that you need to play, but that you can collect in binders when earning points or pucks. That was a fun way to play NHL on PlayStation!
@zachthekingsfan. I really wouldn't say all that about Ray Emery sucking. He was pretty good in his first couple of seasons with the senators. After that, he kind of did just fell to the bottom and started suffering from a lot of injuries. If he can stay healthy and strong for at least a whole season, he might just be able to bounce back.
Jonas hiller was battling with a serious injury that kept him out of the lineup throughout last season and the playoffs. Which explains why u see Ray Emery in this video instead of hiller. Not really taking anything away from Emery, but I'm pretty sure hiller will maintain his role as starting goaltender once he's 100% healthy. Go DUCKS!
I'm with @LTrojanowski1 I would kill for actual goal songs, or at least an option to change or download original goal songs. Roster updates would great... I can't stand having players on the roster when they're not playing for the team anymore. i.e. Jamie Langenbrunner, as soon as he left the Devils, I wanted him OUT of the lineup.

@xNiCK58 cause in NHL they have practice mode ;) besides i played NHL 2k10 (i think thats the one) and they had that zamboni mini game, man that was stupid. Pointless things like that take away from the amount of space they can use to improve visuals. Visuals are way more important then stupid little mini games any day.
i want to see a team made up of all the best players from that franchise's history. that would make for a great game. I would love to pass the puck with Gretzky, dangle through defenders with Lemieux, and own show with Sawchuck.... It would be unbelievable!

I would love to see every team have their own announcers for home games, as I'm a Flyers fan, and I've been listening to Jim Jackson for years. He's undeniably great, biased towards the Flyers, but still great and the whole team of announcers here are. It would cost way too much for contracts for all NHL teams, but it would absolutely bring a great new dimension to their presentation if they would go out and make that happen. I know all fans of the game would appreciate the addition.
I like Clement, and Thorn is passable, but they need to update their recorded commentary. I'm sick of the same quotes, and I want more history about each player. Also, more info on prospects. The game acts as if no one knows anything about these big rookies, even though the draft is almost 5 months before the game even releases. I can't imagine these guys are demanding as much money as the Major Junior and European leagues for rights to players names, to just record new commentary every 2 years.
ill play nhl 11 and get bored and play 2k, the graphics suck, but i find the gameplay is actully kind of fun, bad game, but it's still fun, and it's better then hearing thoose shit commentators on the ea games, i can't wait till like 2017 or somthing ea will be so much better then now
nhl 12 or next year they should add a trade finder like in nba 2k11 in gm mode and season mode cause i wanted to get a player out of my team and i made so many trades and no one would want him but if they had trade finder it would give me options to trade players to wich teams and they should a trade option in be a pro mode like if you dont want to be with that team anymore you can send a trade request please add these to the future games
Brent Burns is gonna be number 88, the sharks bench is on the left side cause they shoot right of the logo in the 1st and 3rd periods and this will be more authentic when i have Metallica's seek and destroy playing in the arena.
Hmm...I noticed this in the Oilers intro video as well. The Ducks are on the right side of the rink at 0:37 (note the logo at centre ice and the benches), but at 1:29 they magically switch sides with the Sharks on the right side and the Ducks on the left. It's not different camera angles as people in the other video have suggested. Just look at the logo at centre ice and where the benches are.
@GoalHornDJ They already have the foundation down, because they don't start every year from scratch. They took NHL 10 and added new things and updated a few things like graphics and stuff. So in my opinion, they have tones of time and a massive opportunity to make a very realistic game. I want, as many other do realism. That's why I play EA hockey games, and not horse shit 2K excuses for hockey games. I care about details that would make you think you were actually at the game, not small detail.
what is everyone complaining about??? nhl 12 is gonna be sick this year with the winter classic, goalie fights, the glass breaking, and now the intros are improved. yeah, they aren't improved a whole lot but its pretty cool to see the team's intro traditions added on the game
@AmericanIDiOT302 the winter classic will get boring after a while. only have rights to Hienz field so it wont change... goalie fights were in nhl 05 i believe. and they took them out, it is the same animation for the goalie fights as it was back when they had it before. the glass will break more than you actually want to. ya the intros are cool but they have been ripping people off for years with small inprovements

I agree. They need to switch from EA Vancouver to somebody else to make NHL games. They are entirely too focused on graphics and controls, other than fun stuff and detail like everyone has been talking about, like actual life like arenas, mascots, more enthusiasm with fans and players, intermission reports and maybe a fun mini game such as street hockey 4 on 4 type thing. Going back to the player thing, there is one fist bump stupid cut scene for scoring, even in the PLAYOFFS. It's sad and lame.

I really dislike the company which makes these games (EA Vancouver). They are much more focused on great graphics and complex controls rather then fun instantaneous game play. They did the same thing to the fight night series after EA Chicago closed down.

ill play nhl 11 and get bored and play 2k, the graphics suck, but i find the gameplay is actully kind of fun, bad game, but it's still fun, and it's better then hearing thoose shit commentators on the ea games, i can't wait till like 2017 or somthing ea will be so much better then now

nhl 12 or next year they should add a trade finder like in nba 2k11 in gm mode and season mode cause i wanted to get a player out of my team and i made so many trades and no one would want him but if they had trade finder it would give me options to trade players to wich teams and they should a trade option in be a pro mode like if you dont want to be with that team anymore you can send a trade request please add these to the future games

Hmm...I noticed this in the Oilers intro video as well. The Ducks are on the right side of the rink at 0:37 (note the logo at centre ice and the benches), but at 1:29 they magically switch sides with the Sharks on the right side and the Ducks on the left. It's not different camera angles as people in the other video have suggested. Just look at the logo at centre ice and where the benches are.

@GoalHornDJ They already have the foundation down, because they don't start every year from scratch. They took NHL 10 and added new things and updated a few things like graphics and stuff. So in my opinion, they have tones of time and a massive opportunity to make a very realistic game. I want, as many other do realism. That's why I play EA hockey games, and not horse shit 2K excuses for hockey games. I care about details that would make you think you were actually at the game, not small detail.

@AmericanIDiOT302 the winter classic will get boring after a while. only have rights to Hienz field so it wont change... goalie fights were in nhl 05 i believe. and they took them out, it is the same animation for the goalie fights as it was back when they had it before. the glass will break more than you actually want to. ya the intros are cool but they have been ripping people off for years with small inprovements

Making NHL 12 isnt made in a day, they have to make customs animations for over 100 teams and over 1000 players, and for the bitching about more modes, what modes can they add, be a couch and watch ur team play< fun times people, i think this looks nuts and if you dont like it make ur own nhl and when you fail come back crying to EA'S NHL!

look... if ur gonna trash bout ea having stupid commentators or bad team intros, then switch to 2k? Where youll have bad graphics, bad game play, glitches galore ( stick goes right through the players face lol) and clearly what doesnt look like hockey, cause in hockey i dont see break aways every 10 seconds... so yeh, bequiet and be happy with what u have. I agree. They need to switch from EA Vancouver to somebody else to make NHL games. They are entirely too focused on graphics and controls, other than fun stuff and detail like everyone has been talking about, like actual life like arenas, mascots, more enthusiasm with fans and players, intermission reports and maybe a fun mini game such as street hockey 4 on 4 type thing. Going back to the player thing, there is one fist bump stupid cut scene for scoring, even in the PLAYOFFS. It's sad and lame.

I really dislike the company which makes these games (EA Vancouver). They are much more focused on great graphics and complex controls rather then fun instantaneous game play. They did the same thing to the fight night series after EA Chicago closed down.
