  • Nice fucking Vid ....Me likey

  • Comment removed

  • i do that all the time and i have been playing for only 1 month

  • basic shot but nice table whooodee

  • this wouldn't be a cut shot. therefore the CUT SHOT is STILL IMPOSSIBLE.

  • lol i can make these whithout "inside english" or as we say in england "side"

  • Great tip. Pisses me off when people bitch about simple videos like this one because they have experience and call this an easy shot. Btw, you have a beautiful house and pool table! What brand of cue stick you have?

  • and now to teach the teacher: cue ball frozen on the short rail mid diamond, object ball opposite side frozen on the other short rail mid diamond. now massey the cue ball and hit the object ball as you explained in your vid. have done it on third attempt. have fun ;)

  • You call this an impossible cut? Dude it's so easy!

  • @4enjoying yes, it is... as this video explains... if you do it already then this vid isn't for you

  • @italiombiano Yeah that's huge for beginners, I remember years ago when I started playing I didn't know that. After it helped out a lot!

  • I have to say, that this is how pool tutorials should be done. Great angle, great closeup, and the most important thing is that now I see how the inglish (or is it E?) thing works. Thank you!

  • @osallivan231 no problem, thanks for the positive criticism.. hope it helps... more to come soon now that i'm playing again

  • cool easy from where u played hard from head string to short rail 90 degreeo cut shot lol

  • @dolta1 im not doing it to flex my skill muscles I'm doing it to explain it in the most effective manner

  • ok so could you go right english on that shot? i'm assuming right or left engish depending on where u wanna go. usually i just hit high top english from anywhere n' i can make that shot. but your way makes more sense. i need to try that. nice tip man. thanks!

  • correct me if i am wrong, from the camera angle, u placed the cue ball to the right side of the object ball which is going into the left corner pocket, that makes it a regular cut shot. the correct impossible cut shot would be object ball frozen at the short rail in one end (around the midpoint of it), and cue ball at the other end lining up almost straight to the object ball

  • geniuses who criticize, shut the fuck up, he's just explaining a shot and I think it was very useful :D

  • i like this HQ

  • wow i learned that shot week after i started playing.... feel awesome right now lol

  • This is so easy shot :S

  • I actually don't use any english for that shot. I try to think of it as hitting the ball and rail at the same time, but good advice. This is actually my favourite shot :)

  • @ThePurestSkyll But, if you have a very close angle when aiming your shot, reverse english is a better choice than trying to hit the rail and the target ball at the same time.

  • how can it be impossible when u can do it

  • impossible is 90 degrees... i made it once in almost 50 try's lol

  • your parent's house is nice

  • he is calling it a cut when it's not a cut its a kick shot this guy has no idea what heis talking about total fucking idiot

  • @purepk794 agreed. he has very little concept of the game. though as described the shot works. he has no idea why it works but it does.

  • the explanation is correct but the way you made the shot was not. Both Cueball and Object ball need to be 90 Degrees of an angle from the cueball - to the object ball - to the pocket, to be impossible without english. The shot you made was possible because not only did you use english, you made the angle easy enough to pot the ball.

  • what if you had to play position while the next ball is in the opposite direction.

  • its only cause the pockets are like buckets, play the same shot on an english 8 ball pool table and i will be impressed.

  • i can make all the balls with my hands

  • Easy

  • no where close to impossible.

especially when it is actually directly on the rail.

when its slightly off it gets alot harder but still this is no where close to an impossible shot

  • @JoeChitussi again...if i thought it was impossible i wouldn't shoot it or shoot a tutorial on it... this video is for novice players only

  • i can do that blind folded easy shot!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrNewerastars than this video isn't for you Buddy Hall

  • @MrNewerastars dont look up how to do it then numbnuts its like steven gerrard lookin up tutorials on how to kick a fucking ball - also no1 cares :) kbye

  • @MrNewerastars post it then

  • lol i can pot that ball in opposite corner

    so damn impossible

  • @Anonomousxxx you can cut that to the opposite corner? wow.. i know you're not talking about banking because then this video isn't for you (not a bank shot)

  • @Anonomousxxx i'm talkin about the 5 ball...no bank

  • Im 13 years old and I can do that easy :P

  • From that angle, you don't have to use english. If you were talking more like an 85-90 degree cut then yes. All you have to do is make the cue ball hit the object ball and rail at the same time.

  • I didn't know I was suppose to put an english on it. Lol my "tutor/teacher" said to just try and hit the ball and the railing at the same time.

  • This is a very easy shot, because it is frozen to the rail that makes it almost impossible to miss. I will make a video of a couple difficult shots for you so you can see what impossible actually means

  • it is impossible if you don't get that shot..dumb ass

  • very easy shot

  • Yep, that's right, cushion first withenglish towards the pocket you are aiming for.

  • Those pockets are huge!

  • You absolutely do not need inside english to make the shot. You need to learn how to play it with center ball, inside AND outside english. That's how you learn to play good pool. The trick is roughly to line up the edge of the cue ball with the edge of the object ball.

  • wow. I never approached that shot like that. Thanks for the tip!

  • What is all of this nonsense about having to miss the ball with inside english to make this shot? All you need to do is hit the ball and the rail at the same time such that at the moment of contact between the balls, the trajectory of the object ball is determined to be parallel to the rail and will go in the corner pocket.

  • Thats bloody easy. Its only difficult if the cue ball is 90+ degree to the object ball or you're trying to shoot from 1 end to the opposite..

  • idiot a 91 degree cut would be considered an impossible cut shot cuz u would have to do extreme english on the cue to cut it right that is an easy shot

  • This isn't the best example. You can cut these shots in without english. Some of them I'm not even sure if the rail is hit first.

  • @colomblanco correct. cause actually you can do that shot by hitting the rail and the ball at the same time... even without english... a 90 degree situation would be the best example for the Kick shot. which is the shot here shown...

  • Why impossible??? Waste of time...

  • @fdgto to the novice player a cut like this seems impossible, because they don't realize the mechanics behind the shot... "Impossible" and "cut" are both wrong, misleading and it isn't what it appears, thats why i explain it

  • @italiombiano its not impossible if u did it

  • I haven't thought of that! DUH! Thanks for the Tuts!

  • i want more tips like this!

  • @coolmafiaboy will do soon!

  • Very nice clean room and table. Great explanation!

FYI: These shots are kick shots not really cut shots.

  • you hit the ball first on the last shot but yeh knew this already check out my trick videos you czan learn it too man.

  • actually no i didnt but thanks for your input =)

  • You're welcome. You can remove it if you don't want anyone else to know you hit it first lol

  • watch it again man, you got your glasses on? at that angle hitting it first would not be able to make the shot... it might be the angle, or you might need a eye doc appt. lol

  • I been doing these shots way before you uploading this and I say you hit it first.

  • watch it again good sir you are mistaken, thanks again for the input though, nice to have a pro here watching my tutorial

  • @TheRealEmskiHelp I agree with italiombiano... It hit the wall first then the wall after

  • Comment removed

  • is there any trick to understanding how to compensate for squirt?

  • there's a way to check for it by hitting a ball with either left or right english the full length of the table with a semi hard struck, and aiming for the center diamond on the short rail, however far from the center diamond the cue ball travels is the amount of "squirt" your stick has, and by doing that quick test you can figure how much to compensate when trying to do things like this shot in this video or long distance kill shots... hope this helps

  • Looks good

  • thanks man yeah i was going to post one like that but didnt have time had BCA tonight

  • actually, the impossible cut is hitting from short rail to short rail with basically no angle at all. There is enough angle there to make it easily in a game. Good shot though, and the way you hit the cue ball is in the same way anyway

  • yeah this is basically just a break down for novice players, i have a whole bunch of people from APA where i shoot at lookin at these, they ask me to post certain things so its just for beginners and medium skilled players!
