Continental Express Embraer ERJ 145 Taking Off from Kansas City International Airport

why is it that in every erj145 takeoff video i watch, the plane takes a turn so soon after the takeoff ? is it just a coincidence or does it have sth to do with the aircraft itself ?

@ikilem well, i would have to speculate that since the plane is smaller, it is able to make a turn sooner after takeoff than a larger plane, which would require more altitude to safely execute a banking turn after takeoff.

By the way how do you account for all the cockpit videos here of every phase of a flight that are put up by airline pilots? Presumably they have no issue using a camcorder inches from their delicate equipment.
