The 2.0L versions of the engine handles boost better. You do how ever need stronger pistons. And to port the intake and exhauste valve ports. Mine only pushes 350 but its better looking then that stupid hatch

@305BoondockSaint because power is extremely hard to get power out of an ms3 dizi motor, fully bolted, your barely making 300WHP, but youll have around 360WTQ, the only way to really make alot of power is to get a bigger turbo, which more and more people are doing
no guarantee on engine life, but it will defiantly decrease it, even if everything is done correctly, if you are worried about blowing the motor or your mazda 3 is your daily driver do not turbo it, they are not designed for making power, i mean even with all the upgrades i have done there is still no guarantee that it will hold together

I have heard some people say yes because the engine wasn't built for a turbo in the first place and some say no you can turbo any sedan without decreasing the engine life. I just want to know how to turbo my mazda3 correctly so I won't mess up the engine in any form.
i work at a shop, but the intercooler is vibrant brand so, you can grab one from any vibrant dealer, although its not gonna be a direct replacement for a speed 3 or anything its just a universal air to air intercooler

Don't think that you are the only one who can make 501 on pump gas...the only reason I'm not there or passed that is because i haven't put up the boost or taken it back to dyno. I am certain that if I put my car on the dyno at 25 psi...well, you know better. Essentially I've been out of the game for over 2 yrs and still have the highest whp Mz3.
