  • Love the vid. My wife and I "discovered" the mill about 2007 or 08 while taking her Aunt Nell back from Pineville, LA to Kosciusko, MS to visit. We bought some meal and grits. Unfortunately we didn't buy enough so had to make a return trip a few weeks later and were able to stock up for a while. I am a grits fiend so this was a treat We try to go back about once a year for "supplies" Unfortunately there weren't any last week when we went back in the second week of June. I'll return though!

  • My friend grogers265 went to visit family and went by the mill and picked up some of the different mill mix. I made some corn bread with the yellow corn mill mix and it was really great. We also made some bean soup to go along with it and what a meal. Don't think I will be using Martha White anymore, lol. The yellow grit's were awesome also.

  • Went and bought 3 cans chicken, 3 cans Rotel, and 3 cans of good broth. Now I have to leave Atlanta, come back to MS., and get about 10 pounds of grits. After coming last Saturday, I came back Sunday with my cousin Lorraine Coleman. She watched one of your relatives in Nanih Waiya, and looking forward to seeing "her child" again.

  • Thanks for the great comments. You are all welcome anytime... Thanks again.

  • The yellow grits, Rotel, chicken, and chicken broth are great. Just finished eating some, and might go make some more. Yes Elaine, your Dad is nice. Looks like I'll have to come back to MS sooner than planned.

  • @grogers265 Thanks for the comment Glad you enjoyed your trip and sounds like the meal was fantastic. Visit anytime. You are always welcome

  • Fantastic video! Visited there with my Dad about 7 years ago. Just received a shipment of their grits here in Texas.Best ever! Bunch of us order together. Their fish fry is one of the best around. Hope the family can keep this historic mill going for another 200 years! Would hate for Mississippi to lose this treasure. Thanks for sharing this!

  • What can I say... If I do get my wish come true and get to come to USA, I will definately visit this place with some friends from close those parts. Thank you for sharing this

  • Thanks for the video. Good Job. I am Elaine Sciple, my Daddy, Edward Sciple owns the Mill. I hope you had the pleasure of meeting him. He is a wonderful man. And my Mom is the best. Again the video is awesome. Great music.

  • @ELAINESC03 Met your Dad last week. He is very nice. The yellow grits, Rotel, chicken, and broth are great. Just doesn't seem right to make it with any grits other than Sciple's. Looks like I will have to come back sooner than planned.
