@RukaBiochemichal - the links are added to the page on our site now: go to the dancetech site - go to ARTICLES via the main menu - choose the cubase sx part-3 drum-map article - the links are at the top of the page just before the first embedded video. Sorry i can't add the link with this post, youtube doesn't allow me to do that
I watched all 8 parts of your tutorial and you are amazing! You really truly have a gift for teaching. I learned so much that would have taken me years to learn on my own. Thanks so much! A question... is it possible to map a floor tom or snare to 4 or 5 different consecutive WHITE keys for playing rolls? Also how do you assign a filter to velocity so harder hits are not only louder but also brighter? Thaks so much again! Please keep making Cubase Tutorials!!
@03185212345 - Thankyou for the kind words - yes easy - in drum map just setup 4 or 5 'lanes' each one with the IN-note as the consecutive white keys you want to play, and the OUT-note mapped to the same tom sample - that way all the IN-mapped white keys will play the same OUT-note sample assigned to that note in your drum s/w or sampler s/w etc
for filter you need to do that in the actual drum s/w or sampler s/w - set it so the filter is assigned to velocity.
sorry didnt find the drum set
