My xbox was broken for 6 months, during thay time they tried to charge me for another year but the credit card was expired and when i did get back online and try to pay for another year they said i had to pay for the last 6 months that i didnt even use. Took a million phone calls. Stupid microsoft

@bigb771 Nice try. My old roommate used my Xbox live account after I moved out and signed up for a recurring monthly subscription. I caught it and contacted Microsoft. They cancelled the subscription, refunded the charge and gave me 1 month free. That was my fault for not completely removing my account info from the system, but MS had no issues with fixing it. Also, I prefer using my credit card info. You get way better subscription deals. I paid less than $3 a month for 12 months.

The one time I bought Xbox Gold online was when it was £6 for 3 months and I took my card details off the account as soon as I was done so they don't charge me again for automatic funding. I would recomend others should do the same.

there are TONS of sites that charge multiple times when you make a purchase, it usually happens if you double-click the submit button, and it's usually a mistake that is VERY easily rectified... having worked with e-commerce, things like this happen fairly regularly
