also, u think such sanctions- which have been around for so long in burma anyways helps? they don't effect them for shit. just makes them more corrupt since they'll eventually snag money from the local population...at least with the big companies, jobs are being created in addition to somewhat significant fdi and if in any case, peoples' money are being taken, it'll be from those that already have money.
