Taxi drivers are some of the worst drivers on the roads today. And (I'm not being racist, just telling the truth) those asian taxi drivers of Pakistani or Bangladeshi origin share licenses.

Private hire needs to go back to base every job? since when?? The jobs get issued out to ur PDA or Radio u can sit any where and get a job & what makes u think they are picking up illegally? did u ever stop to think maybe they are there picking some one up who had ordered from them?

err. my first point was not invalid. it is the law. its called sattelite parking and for you guys its illegal if you dont. check your by laws.

2) your byelaws state out of public view.

3) bus stops and lanes are for buses only.

4) why illegally pick up. you dont go to tesco and say heinz beans are expensive so ill steal your home brand

5) bylaws also state ph drivers cannot be instructed by base or customers to wait outside a public building6)1 or more vehicles parkd up close togetha is ranking

@tuffyg i send 1 message and you git rattled. You perfectley dogded the topic of double yellows and then started making things up. I made statements and you never read what i wrote. When did i talk about its ok for ph to pick up illegal customers. I talked about discrimination, if you were my customer i would love to give you a service. Even if you were a tourist, now imagine travelodge great anocoats where would i legally be allowed to park to pick u up?

Private hire drivers are being discriminated against there is no where legally private hire drivers can park round manchester. Where as black cabs have bays, imagine saying to a customer im gona have to drop u off outside city centre as legally im not allowed to park up in the centre. Black drivers charge a huge rate and private hire drivers help us out when we mention black cab rate. No other EU country has this policy of two types of Taxi's... There should only be 1 type of badge in mancheter

3) hackney fares are set by the council. go complain to them. not the driver.

4)plying for hire is ILLEGAL. plying as it flag down as in what this muppet is doing. its a form of theft from the legit hackney drivers.

Er there is nowhere to park up near base, double yellow lines everywhere, warden do tell drivers to move. Alos a new proposal is coming out to say private hire drivers are not allowed to stop at bus lanes to drop off disabled customers. pal i refer you to your highway code which EVERY driver has to follow. double yellow means no parking/stopping FULLSTOP.
