  • It isn't death it's "bone Idle"

  • Why would Death be wandering around naked? Its not death- No worries

  • I love this game, It is hard to find, but you still can, if you keep your eyes open. One of my favorite bits in the game was actually a Monty Python reference (the stoning)

I was pleased with David Jason's Rincewind, but I would have loved to see Eric Idle put on the Wizzard hat.

  • Let's not forget the "Bring out your Dead!" line.

    The references were brilliant.

  • omg so funny! :) outside the pub

  • Ey is eric ilde from Monhty Phyton, awesome i played this game, maybe ten years ago, master Piece.

  • Yep,really cool song, but I don't see the Discworld part in it!Just because it's Death who's singing it doesn't show me he's the Death from Discworld!

  • well its the death song do u think he is THAT optomistic or that deaperate to collect souls

  • plus he has a mustache :P

  • its at the end of the discworld game so ye its the discworld death

  • Ah!Thanks for the tip :D

But the thing is that Death is in the books, and that's where he's from, not from the DW game. :D

  • Yeah I know he's from the books, but he was in the game and I remember this bit cos I played the game hehe

  • No, actually that is skeleton 'Bone Idle' hired by rincewind to sing Death's Jingle in Discworld PC game 2.

  • does anyone else think they as good a actor that david jason is, eric idle should of played rincewind in colour of magic?

  • personally I would have loved David Tennant as Rincewind, but oh well

  • They would both be awesome...

  • hehehe! i got this song on cd! erics a great singer!

i really do miss this game--i completed it so many times but its the kind of thing i want to play again but i dont have it any more and i want itttt!!!!

its really expensive on ebay too :O maybe its become a bit of a collecters item perhaps

  • who sings that song? I'm trying to possibly get permission to use it for a segment on a youtube show coming this winter.. :)

  • eric idle sings this song :)

  • One the very few things that can actually "move" you. And of course it's thanks to Sir Terrence David John Pratchet.

  • Eric Idle

  • Eric idle sings this song =]

  • I got in trouble for covering this in middle school at the talent show. It was worth it

  • Really wish I'd had a chance to play this game :(

  • Oh how I've missed that game. I need to see if I can track down my CD so I can install it again :D

  • This is so weird!

    Funny though.

  • haha my dad would make me see a shrink if he heard what I was listening too XD But even though it's about death it's ever positive!

  • I love this game so! And the books are genius!

  • Who sings this? Sounds like the guy from Monty Pythons. Awesome song! :D

  • It actually is sung by Eric Idle from Monty Python.

  • Eric Idle does the voice of the main character :P

  • this song rocks =D thkz fo the memories

  • You HAVE to love this song. Otherwise, you must be dead! Thanks Eric!

  • lol! I loved the Shadowgate music at the beginning! I've been trying to find a way to rip this video from the disc. I loved the Discworld games. Too bad 3 only made its way to PC. :(

  • Ha ha ha! I was expecting him to start tapdancing any minute....

  • Best.. Game..

  • supercool !!! the death looks a little bit like bonejangles from corpsebride...

  • kicks

  • what a great song.

gotta love the last credit line: "Throwing Books From Afar: Terry Pratchett"

  • I love that song

  • Death is the coolest character in Discworld. Never before has the spookiest creature in the world had so much charisma.
