It's true, some of the best guitar players in the world will still look at their fret boards, it's about the way you play it and how you make it sound. You did an awesome job but it wouldn't matter if you weren't looking at the fret board. (Like me for instance lol :-p)

it is slower thanks to whomever originally made the guitar pro file that i used for the drums. it works out to about a 3.33% difference which for example on a 120bpm song would equate to about 116bpm. unless of course some parts were slower than normal and some were faster.

Yeah this is impressive and all, but it would have been more so if you had played the solos as well. But apart from that it seems a little pointless to me to not look at the frets.

also how would you expect me to play this solo without looking at the frets at all? the beginning tapping part would be near impossible. with the left hand you can gauge what frets your on without looking by the wood of the neck dragging along your hand. tapping with your right hand in mid air gives no way to gauge where your at within the 12 frets of the tapping

i'd say your wrong because pulling off from 24 to 12 for most people is not easy, but the tab guy that i trust the most says it's dave doing his trademark thumb on the 12th fret deal .. i personally tap it and it sounds just as good to me.

regardless, playing it live dave mustaine plays it is abnormal thus muscle memory does not apply thus i seriously doubt anyone can play it without looking, consistently
