  • here are my reactions :|+-_-+:0+ O.o+O_O

  • there are actually 3 Variations of this Stage type: The Road stage (full bvodied Chuck & Hallf bodied Helen,Munch,Jasper & Pasquially, the 2-stage (shown here_ and the 1-stage (5 full characters on a single stage) we have this same astage at the store i woprked at in Fairfield,CA

  • Our stage actually had a complete rehaul in the summer of 2008. We are one of the only stores left in the system that still has this stage setup. They don't make parts for much of it anymore, so there is only so much we can do to keep it functional. The video doesn't do it much justice, up close it looks great. Great for 20 year old animatronics anyway :) But we kinda like the vintage-ness of it, that's why we have kept it instead of converting to Studio C. We will eventually though.

  • @PortlandCEC Where do you get this info, PortlandCEC? This stage setup is very common, next to Studio C. Age doesn't matter, cylinders are generic and they CAN be replaced, it just costs $. Believe me, I visit 30 locations that have this stage setup, and they keep the stage up very well, and YES you can still get parts. Visit my channel.. I actually own a couple of these animatronics, and it is actually quite easy to get parts. Now, 3-stages... that's a whole other story.

  • @chuckecheeseshows ummmm that's just what I heard from our technician and owner, that it was difficult to get parts and what not. We do keep our stage up well, like I said, up close it looks great. In this economy there have to be decisions made on what to spend money on. I am also confused as to what you called our stage. What is a 2 stage? And a 3 stage? You described a 1 stage as 5 full characters on a single stage. Is that not what we have, all 5 characters and one single stage?

  • @PortlandCEC I'm not talking about cosmetically, I'm talking movement wise. This is a 2-stage, because of the T.V. in between Chuck and Helen. A 1-stage is all 5 characters on one single stage without a T.V. separating the stages. A 3-stage is a former Rock-afire Explosion, the band that played at ShowBiz Pizza Place in the 1980's. Between 1990-1992 those were converted to CEC 3-stages. Chuck E has his own stage, Helen, Munch, and Jasper are on the center stage, and Pasqually has his own stage.

  • Looks like the stage needs work a bit

  • Whoops. Can totally hear me talking on my walkie-talkie. All in a day's work.

  • @PortlandCEC i'm surprised you could hear the person on the end over the show!
