@jaimef101 Thanks. I always run 32:1 ratio. Better safe than sorry. That is a little fat but it's much easier to change a plug than a top end. I run Bel Ray in everything I own. You may have to google the oil capacity. I can't recall exactly right now. Enjoy yours. They are killers lol.

@stevensj13 do you know of anything that would cause the bike to randomly accelerate? ive tried adjusting the idle but it still will randomly accelerate when your like half throttle and dump you on your ass....
I miss a full gate of them and RM400s rattling and spitting smoke

@mckee20101 The 79 has a smaller bore but a longer stroke, so it puts out more power and torque than any other year.

@mckee20101 could be throttle cable binding or routed too tight. Could also be a blockage in the fuel line, filter or main jet.

I had a 78 in 80 and it didn't look as nice as yours. It was a great bike. Very reliable.
