Okay, this video is very scary to me....first of all, the technician did not even isolate the area of the eye. The eyelid and under the eyes should be sterile!!! She is also touching the eyelash with her fingers before placement of the lash. The well where she is picking up the glue from, is all yucky. And of course, the client does not have any privacy - this is the worst of all. I would never, ever have any spa procedures done here.
The rate for full set (the first time) is between $250.00 - $375 depends on the looks you are going for (natural, dramatic, etc)
the touch up is $45- $75 and more. and you have to get touch up every 4 - 6 weeks. She should cover the customer's eyes first before applying eyelash. I can tell she is not doing it right at all. Bad Bad Bad
if they charge cheap. ur not gettin true eyelash extensions. get educated do ur research..true eyelash extensions last 2-3 months require 2-3 wk touch ups and range from 150-375 and up. its near ur eye do u really want someone using nonmedical grade unsafe glue near ur eye?..and its supposed to be a relaxing spa atmoshphere. - i am asian, i am a certified lash extensionist. places like this give us a bad name...like i said..get educated b4 u walk into these places.
u are a certified eyelsh extensionist...i'm going to get mine done soon at a local spa in my town how do i ask her if shes licseneds or not with out being rude or should they tell me please help?
Like a week. Some places charge $25 dollars for them, but my friend gets them done for $13 if you buy the lash and $15 if you don't. Fill ins are free.
Its in New York City.. Well I sometimes do it for special occasions, like a wedding or party. The people who do them are Indians and since I've been going there I never walked out blind, so I'm happy. Mine usually last about 2weeks, and then if I want or if any have fallen off I can easily go back to ask them to fill it in. $150-$375....sounds a little bit to outrageous, especially if the extensions aren't planning to stay there forever
you need to put something on top and the bottom of her eye to protect from your fingers!!

If you just want it for a special occasion, can you skip out on the retouches? Like will it look weird after unless you get it retouched?

150-375?? for fake eyelashes that are going to fall out anyway?? I'd rather use my money more wisely.
