  • Fucking Badass!

  • your video presentation was great !! The work , is awesome. just beautiful.

  • @billfromelma Many thanks for the kind words!

  • Wow!

  • This is nice work. Your presentation is indicative to myself that it is lacking in humility, and begs the question of why you are producing this art. Is it for validation and recognition; or the process of personal growth. I would humbly suggest that you look inward for work that has personal meaning; rather than searching for an ego massage. My favorite was the mask, that seemed to be a real expression. Thank you for sharing.

I like the various art works within the video, and how they are presented. The musical accompaniment is very dramatic, which amplifies the perception.*****

  • i very much appreciate your artworks, I also Invite you to watch my Little brand new Video, under the name artistichicana I could not ever think of being as Good a Craftsperson as you are. But please feel free to check out some of my Stuff.thanks Lil

  • What program did you put this together with?

  • I just made it using 'windows moviemaker' that comes preloaded on a PC. All of the images were jpeg stills. For the lettering I started with a plain black image, faded into one with normal lettering then faded to one with a 'glowing' version (photoshop). Then fading back to the plain lettering, then faded back to black. This gives the effect of a glowing title. Hope that helps!

    Thanks for watching it!

  • wow i really can't believe that you are not a professional!

this is all absolutely stunning and i simply admire your work and the amount of time and effort you must put into each piece to acheive such detail and perfection! i can only hope to get this good with my work but i guess i've got a long way to go : )

  • Thank you very much for your kind comments! Keep practicing with your work, you will get there!... Dont give up on it!

  • Wow i love your drawings!

hopefully when im older ill be able to hold as much talent as you and do beautiful drawings. :D

How long has it taken you to become this good?

  • Thats very kind of you...Thank you!. The most important thing is to keep drawing as much as you can, even if you are not happy with them. Your work will improve as you do more. It won't take you too long at all!

    Thanks again!

  • Spot on, followed the lik from BB, twas worth it :D

You need to come to a Hammerin and make some real blades for yourself ;)

    Rgds

  • Cheers mate, I appreciate your time and kind comments. when I get a bit more confident at it I might take you up on that!

  • I admire your artwork. I am an artist too, but not exactly a professional artist. What I admire in your drawings is the effect of the rays from the windows.

  • Thanks very much! I'm not really professional its more in my spare time really. Good luck with all of your work too!

  • I would say "Master Craftsman"! Your attention to detail, ability to convey the levels of emotion, sensuality, your overall style is simply put "Awesome"!

  • Thank you for my best ever comment!! Thats made my day!

  • Fantastic work and excellent video

  • I really appreciate that, thanks!

  • WOW !! YOU ARE THE MASTER !!

  • Many thanks for your generous comment.

  • Thank you for the link.. ZV Magazine !! I've not visited your site but I appreciate the extra traffic!!

  • amazing. especially celtic symbols.

are the axes usable or just deko?

  • Thanks for the nice comment. The axe heads are real, and the handles are real carved hardwoods, so in theory they are useable. However, as the handles are carved they would be considerably weaker than a normal one. This would make them dangerous to use for real. They are mainly designed to be displayed.

  • ur amazing! that art doll was creepy btw

  • Ha ha!Thanks for the comment. And thanks for sitting through it to the end. Cheers!

  • 5 Stars!!! Stunning!

    Every Piece is Beautiful!

  • Great..I'm really pleased that you like it. Thanks for taking the time to look for it!

  • Hey when are you going to make more wonderful videos of your work? :( You keep me in suspense..

  • OK, I am overly impressed! You have such an elegance about your work and presentation. Bravo.

  • Thanks for your kind comment!

  • Wow! It's all awesome. My personal, subjective favourites are all the pieces in wood, carved or turned, and your drawings. You have tons of talent. Just follow your heart.

  • Thanks Adrian, it really helps to get great feedback. Love your music by the way!

  • with work like that, of such a wide range and high calibre, your confidence shouldn't be dentable!!!

  • Thanks very much. I lack confidence with it because I get very little feedback outside the workshop! Any comments are gratefully received. Cheers!

  • great work

  • Thanks for taking the time to look, much appreciated.

  • Wow Andrew, great work. I'm going to send this to my friends. Later, Tony.

  • Thanks Tony its great to know what people think. When you get no response back it can dent your confidence. So I really appreciate your time.

    All the best.

  • Your artwork is great. Your panther/antelope carving is excellent-love the art deco style (flowing) style of the surrounding forest. Your shields and axes look like authentic ceremonial goods, the celtic knot spoons need to be cast in stainless steel and sent out to the world! We deserve/want it. Your female figure shows your command of anatomy as well as love of the material - wood. do you ever think of casting multiples in metal, or do you just love your materials too much? -jjj

  • Thanks Jason, I am really flattered at those comments, especially coming from a brilliant sculptor. I had never even thought of getting the spoons cast, what a great idea. The Eagle in the video is a bronze but the cost of doing anything bigger has always prohibited me from taking it further. I would love to do more metal and stone work, (Being a mould maker and pattern maker for a polyester resin company, I should be able to transfer some of the techniques!) Thanks again.

  • Great stuff! I like your shields and axes the most, your masks and wood carvings second! Keep up the good work!

  • Thanks for the positive comments, it really helps!
