  • This pattern is indeed the "hobstar" and heart pattern on the back. Look at the close up within the circle...count the points The reader is likely to notice that certain hobstars are sometimes referred to as "Middlesex hobstars." This hobstar -- diagrammed on the right -- consists of eight points and is oriented so that the design resembles a Greek cross.

  • This guy was all wrong. Millersburg Carnival Glass was only produced from 1909-1912. The pattern is Primrose and it's worth about $100 with color like that, if perfect condition. It was used for decoration moreso than utilitarian purposes.

  • This is in my neighborhood, it's a nice old store. I sell antiques in Cheviot we have several stores in a row on Harrison Ave. Come visit us.
