Should I remind people, its not just what you got under the hood, if you dont got the right, RUBBER.. SUSPENSION.. and GEARING your not gonna hook up anyways. You can take a 350hp mustang with 3,500.00 rear end suspension and the works, and will be out a 500hp mustang with less quality rear going on...
Hmm. not 350 hp vs 500....no 350 hp mustang is running mid 11's@118-121 ish. My pullied 03 Cobra ran 11.70's@119 with stock suspension and rear end. Made 460 rwhp.
I remember seeing a 93 Cobra in a showroom at the Ford dealership with less than 500 miles on it. They wanted almost 40,000 for that car. An all original Cobra with low mileage can run you over 20,000 easy.
@lurch1489 right, spun a little = loses a little time, and like i said at 6 psi i doubt its 500 rwhp with supercharger, alot of cobras with trickflow top end kits and superchargers are sitn at 480 to 500 to the wheels.
A 93 Cobra in fair shape will bring 12k +, I just looked at a Teal Green 93 that was 100% bone stock and in real nice shape that went for $17,500
Engine mods don't do much for the price on the 93 Cobras but the more affordable GT and LX have a better resale with mods. I have a Vortech V1 A-Trim on my 90GT and a V1 S-Trim on my 89LX, I have a 93GT that may have my V7 YSi on it by the time I am done with it.
stock gt's from the 90's can sell for as low as 1500. with work and 5000 grand more you can own a KB gt or cobra swapped KB cobra with a bottom end that can withstand up to 8000RPMS at 815 hp with PI heads that can withstand 46 psi combustion
sounded like something fell apart at the end..!

Does anybody know if a supercherger can be placed on a stock 302 or would the heads, pistons, cam have to be upgraded???
lightningvolt127 1 year ago
@lightningvolt127 no just injectors and what ever would come in the kit like the vortech v1 ,v2 paxton novi 1000 all the good kits
ASCmustang88 1 year ago
@lightningvolt127 yes it can be placed on a stock 302. run about 5-8 psi safely. but the car will wake up with cam and heads.

this car doesn't have near 500hp. Would it take a car with 500hp 7.5 seconds to go 15-80?
lurch1489 2 years ago
@lurch1489 well im sure it was spinning the tires.... plus it probly isnt making 500hp if its stock cam and stock heads.
SDHUMPUP 1 year ago
@SDHUMPUP it's not like he was spinning through 3rd gear or something. He spun in first and dead hooked 2nd out.....
