Soy Maidenista desde los 9 años, tengo 38, algo de razon debo tener, puedo decir con propiedad que Bayley ha sido y sigue siendo el punto mas bajo de La Bestia en todos sus años de trayectoria....cero voz...cero carisma...cero identificacion con los fans.....en concreto sin pena ni gloria, aunque con un poco mas de pena....los dos albumes mas bajos han sido con este tipo de vocalista....se aprecian..si, pero mas que nada por lo que es Iron Maiden...saludos desde Chile....UP THE IRONS...!!!!!

I had tickets to see Iron Maiden twice during the Blaze years. Both shows were canceled because Blaze was 'ill". Now that I have seen this I am very happy that I got a refund and was spared the experience.

@ptm7923 The truth is that they cancelled the shows because he lost his voice. He sang beyond his natural register which made his voice strained and out of tune. He could do it pretty good for the first months of the tour, but in this concert his voice is completely gone.

Diré algo en favor del los wns que escupieron, por ese tiempo hubo una "Moda" si entiendan bien "Moda" una expresión frak y brutal que al ser escupida la banda se le reconocía su rudeza y categoría, se que es algo estúpido. in my opinion the real reason why everyone seems to hate blaze is because they were expecting him to sound just like bruce and thats just impossible since they are totally different singers with different styles and in my opinion blaze is not a bad singer in fact is and awesome one and i love the way he sings the songs from both the x factor and virtual xi especially futureal, the clansman and sign of the cross and i do think if bruce hadnt returned i would gladly see them play with blaze

The songs are not in Blaze's vocal range but i give thumbs up for him giving everything he had. He is an awesome singer in his solomaterial, search for "Blaze Bayley - Stare at the Sun".

@wickerman135 You know why? He is a bariton and sang out his vocal range for many months, which led to that his voice got very strained and he couldn't reach the notes. He also had problems with the monitors during this gig so that barely could hear himself in some of the songs. Blaze is a good singer, if you haven't heard any of his own songs i recommend you to search for "Blaze Bayley - Silicon Messiah" and "Blaze - Stare at the Sun". He can do much better than on this tour!

I remember when this album came out and metal was pretty dismal. Iron Maiden was playing this club out here in LA called "The Reseda Country Club." It was a very famous club for metal and other styles but it seemed odd that the almighty Maiden was playing there and no decent sized venues in California. It's not my favorite maiden album, but it does has some good memories for this period of my life. UP THE IRONS!

He doesn't hit the high notes and sings of key very often. Nobody can replace bruce. His voice is to unique. Doogie White may have been a better replace than Blaze. Check his version of "Hallowed be thy name".

I think the X-factor and virtual eleven is extremely strong albums. These two are amongs their best and most interesting in my opinion. I just never get tired of them. But then I never really get tired of any maiden album...

Personally I like Blaze and he is good at what he does (For instance Silicon Messiah and Tenth Dimension were strong albums that he released after his time in Maiden and were more suited to him). I liked both of the albums that he did with Maiden but he struggled so desperately live with songs from Bruce's era (In my opinion)
