omg 9 straight 40 point games agianst the an NBA defense that has been the best in any era. he is clearly the greatest player of all atime already. dont send me any replies please about jordan or lebron, kobe is the greatest of all time, you cant change my mind, its obviously clear to me. if you study the games and not stats or highlights i GUARANTEE you will also agree he is the best.

yea, jordan fans away use stats. u have to look at the game itself. You gotta see how the game is played and who is playing and how they are playing to compare. Stats only show if a person is good or not, it doesnt show who's better.

Also, 03 04 wasn't that bad for kobe. He put up a lot of points considering the circumstances.(By that i mean not the rape, the 3 other hall of famers on his team) And in 04 05, he was great. 27,6,& 6 those are historical numbers.

No, he had too much of a "Lebron" year. Great allaround numbers, but down everywhere else. His jumpshot was very inconsistent, he had horrific defense, he choked, and his skill level was down. He even looked like him. Huge and buff, very quick on the drive, jumped very high, very raw-like.

2004-05 Kobe played like 2006-07 Lebron (no knock at Kobe intended) some of Kobe's best dunks ever came that year depsite weighing in at a generous 230, I'd say after returing from injury it was more like 235.

i think the 04-05 year was the year that best describes wat you wrote lakersrule because wen shaq left kobe felt like he had alot to prove..i feel like he did have some choking momoment he skill level was down a bit but that was because of the muscles that he put on but all in all he was a beast that year..but now he is the best player hands down

Man kobe is so damn good in 2002-2003. Its his prime w/o a doubt IMO. I just wish I could see HOW GOOD a 2003-2004 kobe would have been without the rape case.

The rape case set kobe back two season. 2003-2004 & 2004-2005 were horrible setback seasons, two of his worst seasons ever.
