Very cute! And sorry about the loss of Lexy. I live in Istanbul and make the rounds daily with my two dogs feeding the local strays. (The ones I can catch have been neutered). When the cats see see the dogs coming, they race up and have a giant love fest, just like this video. The dogs lick the cats, cats lick the dogs, dogs play-bow, cats rub on them. Turks think dogs all eat cats, and passers-by watch and wait for the carnage to occur. Which of course it doesn't!

Aww, sorry to hear about Lexy. Did you have her vaccinated every year, like most Vets recommend ? You may be surprised to hear that many illnesses result from over vaccinating. Honest veterinary advice can be found at Shirleys wellness cafe (google it). One rabies and one distemper shot will confer immunity for life, all those other ones are really unnecessary.
I used to vaccinate my pets regularly and they all got sick. Now I have shot free pets, and they thrive, something to think about :-)

Sowflak was only 21/2 when she died .Star was around 16 years old .Both where given to me by the SPCA because they where abused by there old owners .But became a normal cat ,and do ,and sisters pretty fast in there new home .Snowflak would have lived a lot longer but my roommate left his bedroome door ,and window open while I was at church . Cats love to explore so Snowflakwent exporing gone for a month . Then found my animale control who called me . We think she got into something then .
I had a cat Snowflak ,and dog Star . They loved each other sleep together plaed with each other Star would even let Snowflakdrink from her water bowl ,and stand behind her waitiing like little girls at the water fountian .They both passed away frome kidney ,and bladder problems .So there sisters for life in heaven know .The nights I see a star shinning brighter than the others .Itell my girlfriends little girls I took in as mine .That's Snowflakstar looking after us .
Aw. Do you think because they were both female cats, the maternal instinct came out in them? I know normally if baby animals are brought up together they get on but your situation is pretty unusual. I bet that Misty is glad that she does have another companion too x
So sad to hear Lexy made her way over the Rainbow Bridge last year. We lost our own dear Siamese boy six weeks ago and such small animals leave such a huge gap, don't they :-)
What a beautiful video - so sorry for your loss - we lost one of our cats at 14 to cancer recently too. So hard. I blame these early losses on commercial pet food and managed to reverse diabetes in my other cat by switching to a high-quality raw carnivorous diet. He is now healthier than ever and puppy too. Btw, I just read your description, Im sorry about your loss. Losing a pet can be a horrid feeling and one that sits in the back of our heart long after their gone. But Im glad you can still remember her through the videos and pictures you may have of her.
I remember when I rescued my kitten, she was soo tiny. And every day my dog would come in the bed and curl up by the side of the box she was in and watch her. And he was just so fascinated by her, when she was old enough to start moving around he'd follow her and when visitors came he'd be there to guard her. Everybody was saying it was weird cause males dont usually do that, lol. He wanted to be a dad soo bad, but for some reason whenever he mated the dogs never got pregnant. Darn I miss him.

I think it is amazing to see not only the love that animals of different species accept and love each other but the security the pup feels is beautiful. This is on of my children's favorite videos. I work in rescue and think that the kids love seeing the kindness that not only a human has for another animal but also the love that is still shared in this sometimes harsh world.

I think it is amazing to see not only the love that animals of different species accept and love each other but the security the pup feels is beautiful. This is on of my children's favorite videos. I work in rescue and think that the kids love seeing the kindness that not only a human has for another animal but also the love that is still shared in this sometimes harsh world.
