Fun little story:

A few hours ago I was watching Elfen Lied up to episode 5, then I finished reading The Neverending Story - where Bastian is fat unlike in the movie - and because of this I remembered the movie "Angus". So I went and watched that afterward and because I liked the opening song so much I googled it, typed the band's name in the youtube bar and there is Elfen Lied again.

@IzZyVanDizZy Sounds like Elfen Lied is calling you. It's ok, it's greatly impacted my life too. Such an amazing anime, I hope you have watched it to the end by now. You'll probably end up like the rest of us, wanting more. At the same time though, it ended just perfectly. Even if they don't continue, they ended it in a way that is just right for a complete ending without having to continue. Sure, a lot of questions left...but enough to keep it on your mind for eternity!

Actually, The Smiths wrote and recorded this song first. There have been several groups that have covered it including Tatu and Love Spit Love. The Smiths version has more emotion, Tatu's version is more pop and Love Spit Love's version has a harder edge. The latter's version worked very well for 7 seasons of "Charmed" and I missed it when it was replaced in season 8.

burning ants with a magnifying glass is pretty sick. I saw a few kids do it when I was a wee girl. There was one kid amongst the whole lot that could stomach it.

Anyway, I kind of like the edgier version by Love Spit Love. Hate this video.
