@Behrudy was randomly watching this again ... I also noticed at 20:53 that Goro used his ground-punch instead of the jump-stomp, and using your ground projectile didn't protect you that time around. So ... whatever the difference is in coding logic between Goro's two ground-area attacks and Kabal's ground projectile ... yeah, I have no idea. =P Again, I'm not an expert on MK or its mechanics.
