The actions of these officers don't surprise me at all. I went through a legal matter with my own son in which I supported him monetarilly in a court battle resulting from his own lack of judgement, my son went before the courts to take responsibility for his actions. Nothing illicit was found when the car was searched. The problem is violating the Constitution. The police broke the law of the land by performing an illegal search and a baseless arrest. Further key officers were bribed to do this. The Constitution is in place to prevent such criminal activity by the police. The United States Constitution is not something the police can break at their discretion. That is the legal foundation of this country and is the basis of our freedom.

Second, the driver of the car was a seventeen year veteran white police officer and the passenger was also white and had no criminal record of any kind. Dude. I'm totally with you. My vehicle was illegally searched several years ago at a checkpoint on Hwy 544. The officers approached from both sides of the vehicle. One asked for permission at the same time that the other on the passenger side opened the door and started rummaging through my trash that was going to the dump the next day. I tried lodging a complaint but was given the runaround. Now I keep a video camera in car. YOUTUBE IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN!
