  • @MacManLtd The app is called Break Speed. It determines the speed of the break by calculating the time difference of the sounds waves of the cue tip hitting the cue ball, and the cue ball hitting the front ball on the foot spot of the rack. You have to tell the app what size table you're on and also tell it where the cue ball is positioned in the kitchen before breaking the balls.

  • When tip hits the cue ball at only 20 mph it will generate 482 degrees F of heat between the ball and the cloth. Imagine the temp at 32 mph...?
