@rosebabes100 No, sorry. Bert's a family friend. I've loved his Debussy album for years. Unfortunately it's currently out of print. We we're discussing YouTube when he mentioned a clip 'Platys and Zebrafishes' played his music in the background. Essentially fish in a tank swim back and forth. I thought the piece deserved better and Bert gave me the OK. Bert is also a Music Professor teaching Master Classes on the Oboe; he'll be pleased you asked about the music. Keep playing!

beau soir... that's "beautiful evening"? perfect for this piece, delicate without being fragile which is unusual for me to say about harp music :) oboe is sublime! although I have also heard this lovely played with piano and viola which brings a darker sound... this is very good I think, & your slideshow a perfect match! thanks
