Urban myth that this song is about weed although I am sure they do smoke weed if you do "listen to the lyrics" as you suggest you will hear it as about food,- a dutchie or dutch pot is a large cooking pot that every house has in Jamaca, hence the lyric "how does it feel when you have no food, what does that have to do with bud?. Although the word 'session' has implications of weed I will conceed, not the main "pass the dutchie" line- urban myth my friend but please smoke on. Peace to you
