My father and me once tried to breed a male anaconda. Stupid idea of us to think that a snake like this could be held on our yard like the other snakes we have XD Ganzo, that's how we called the anaconda, grew so fast we had to build him a new lake when he was 2 months old XD Well, after 10 months he just got too expensive because he needed way more food than the others. So we gave him an injection so that he sleeps for some hours and then my uncle brought him to a big river and set him free ^^

Well, if you meant it: It was no big deal ^^ I mean, we're breeders and of course every snake we breed is important to us. But we don't keep all. We sell some of them to circus men who need new attractions. some others are just here cause they're badly injured, so we keep them till they're wounds are okay again and then we set them free again etc. Ganzo was just an experiment ^^ But he still lives

at 0:57 you can see one of hundreds of injuries most anacondas will endure during their lifetime of snatching and constricting very large prey with everything from teeth, hooves, claws, and tusks. the wounds are almost never fatal and after a big meal like that the snake can wait about 6 months to heal before it needs to eat again.
