I saw 'The Lion King On Stage' today at the Lyceum Theatre in London, one word....WOW! Literally sat there with goosebumps the entire time. If you're ever in London it is a MUST see! This was was so amazingly performed!!!
I used to sing this song so much that I actually could sing the african parts then I stopped listening to it and today I come back and I forget how to pronounce them, shame on me!
i know this song like the back of my hand i could sing the entire song, and not miss a word,(including the words that i dont know what they stand for)....lol
@Shadhahvar10: don't worry.... your not they only one trust me.... i am fifteen almost sixteen and disney is my idol! i know im a dork but i am proud to support such a fabulous series of films! :D
@BornFreeSoLiveFree It's not about god, it's about your ancestor's your father, your grandfather and his father before him, they are all part of the genetic code that makes up the human you are
thumbs up if you wish that Disney still made films like this and dropped the whole 'High School Musical' charade. What ever happened to Disney? Walt Disney's legacy no longer lives on I feel... :/ :(
i had to sing this song at Edstar my camp we sing act and dance over the summer its a porgram and its so much fun right now im takin vice and drama and piano lessons ima be awsome when i grow up just like my ffrieands and family
@wiigamer241 Actually I would say anything to do with Hanna Montana is the worst stuff Disney even did. I mean, I would watch Mars Needs Moms 10 times before I would watch even half an hour of Hanna Montana. But Mars Needs Moms is one of their worst cartoons. They have really gone down hill these past years with almost all of their new stuff flopping other than Pirates.
Even though I am now 17 years old, I will always be a little kid sitting on the sofa with a hot chocolate in my hands whilst watching Disney movies :D
@suitsforless the title is appropriate. the song is based on the ideology that even though our loved ones are gone in the physical sense they remain living in our hearts. He does not walk among us physically but lives in our hearts and souls. Any other title would not fit the song's message.
I haven't watched this movie in more than 10 years O_O When did I get so old? I love old Disney and can honestly say that if you asked me which I would prefer an old Disney over any other movie in the world my choice would still remain Disney for one reason and one alone Disney made me into the woman I am today and I am proud to be who I am. Everything I could ever hope to one day teach my children about life lives in the music and messages of Disney now and forever Disney will live in my heart
i love this song cause i have watch lion king since i was 4 or 5 and now im 15! i loved it when a teacher woould bring this in! Plus lion king is like one of the best movies ever! Thank you for making this vid!
DisneySongsLover: Do you go on lyrics websites or do you listen by ear to get lyrics? Because it seems like it would be really hard to get the foreign language parts on songs like these.
I got a friend who was named Kiara 2 years after this movie was released, and every time she ever complained about it, I would start going "Hela hey Mamela"
I get goose flesh when I hear this song. When the Lion King 2 got out I was 1 years old. I was watching it when I was eating when I was sleeping when I was playing......I first learnt it in greek because my mom is greek and now that I'm 15 and I started watching it again I prefer it on it's original language!!!!!
I don't even know what to say when I listen to this song. My dad died in the summer of 2011 (I was 14 at the time) and this song just... does something to me. Makes me feel like I'm radiating light or something. It's like a connection.
no offense to many other disney movies, but i think this is the only sequel they actually made right, and the only memorable one, along with the rescueres 2

Me, behave? Seriously? The fault is not mine! If you had this childhood and loved it repost
