you'll have to dissasemble your phone =( i did that.. i had to clean the whole thing and now its working as good as new :P i used a very soft sandpaper to polish the metal thing and the led tip because there're not connected, so its easy that some particles get between those parts.
it also hapens to me.. but then some how it goes back to normal

I have also got the very same problem with my nokia 5610Xm. It flashes but very dim, of no use :(

oops i have never disassembled my cellphone...don't want to take risk...so better i will ask some professional to clean it up and get it ready.

if you can afford the professional help you really should ;)
and dont know if its a dust problem, but cleaning worked for me.. LEDs have been working great since i did that..
