  • the batter and ump r both black i think

  • toss em

  • The umpire's mistake was not immediately tossing the pitcher.

  • filthy nigger

  • his foot was on the plate, if it was a ball, it would have hit the batter. bad bad call.

  • I think he called it a ball because the catcher had to move his glove so much at the last moment to catch it.

But from where he caught it.... looks like a solid strike... bad angle though.

  • The batter stepped on the plate you can do that it was a little high but should be a strike. Not needed yelling from the crowd though.

  • @VideoGamers1414 it does not need to be a strike if its not a strike

  • bullshit call. the dude almost landed on home on his stride.

  • bad call that was a strike

  • @thescooterkid23 ya bc you can see the ball right

  • @hound2696 ya i would have killed the ump

  • @thescooterkid23 lol y

  • i dont understand why the pitcher was not dumped??????!!!!! come on blue grow some balls toss him!!!!!!!!!!

  • The cather barely moved his glove. STRIKE

  • This umpire handled this COMPLETELY WRONG. 1) When the pitcher approached him from the mound, AUTOMATIC EJECTION and 2) you do NOT follow the kid back to the mound. I honestly don't faul the coach for stepping in the middle.

  • Comment removed

  • no ejections...as soon as some dude comes running at me screaming...see ya...coach in my face see ya. Player started the confrontation and i would have ended it. Most of you must be bitches letting people scream in your face. Do that to someone and see if they just walk away. I am just disappointed no one got dumped!

  • to much inside catcher made it look close but moved glove to much

  • btw the pitch was definitely a strike from what i saw haha. Inside fast ball

  • the umpire acted like a little child by following the pitcher like he was gonna school him or goading him to act even more aggressively. The pitcher realized felt better after his yelling and was leaving but the umpire was trying to get more to evict him..the coach told the umpire to fucking cool it and do his job..which is total shit haha. Support the Coach

  • @mmarano869 Exactly. Good move by the coach.

  • I played in a tournament 2 weeks ago and my cousin was pitching and the ump would not call a strike. So my cousin got pissed, next thing the ump goes up to him and says your body language sucks, if the catcher moves the glove at all im calling it a ball. Never play at Sports at the beach.

  • Two things here, number one if you go at an umpire like that prepare to be tossed. Number two, the pitcher turns and starts walking away but the umpire loses his cool and goes after him but is intercepted by the coach then bumps the coach....the umpire should be disciplined by his governing body.

  • @PIZZAHUTLOVER554 he followed him kuz he was obviously tellin him to cool it b4 he tosses him out the game n idk wat people r talkin about the batter being too close. The batter can be as close as he wants as long as he is nt on the plate

  • @LilWhite209 Not only did he step on home plate but he stepped out of the batters box.

  • Batter didn't swing the bat and make contact with the ball so stepping on the plate doesn't matter.

Coach should have been ejected for exiting the dugout... I would have told him to take his pitcher with him too.

  • Pitcher should've been tossed. Obvious basket case.

  • Dude fuck that ump. Bad call or good call why is he following the pitcher like hes some sort of hardass? I hope the coach told him to fuck off

  • @zyonlisky51 that's most definitely a strike, that umpire made that called based off the shoulder lean of the batter.

  • @GBrennum thats fine. Thats why i put good call or bad call. But regardless I think he shoulda just let the pitcher look like a douche for flipping out but instead he trudges after him like hes gonna flip and be a hardass

  • @zyonlisky51 the ump was ready to eject him coach intervened intime

    the pitcher got lucky

  • @zyonlisky51 i agree that the umpire follow the pitcher is wrong the pitcher is always wrong for doing that.

  • I can see why the pitcher was angry, look at where the catcher's glove is when he caught it. Now look at the batter's foot, it's almost touching the plate, the batter was so close the the plate so the ump thought it was inside.

  • Rare and stupid. Bad move by ump to get in his face.

As far as the racist posts - nice to see affirmative action isn't need in this country any longer.

  • The ump should have just ran him for the display.

  • Wow.. My coach would kick my ass if I did that

  • nigger.

  • @ILOVEUMPS plate umpire had no business following the pitcher all the back to mound screaming like it shows and he puts his chest into the coach...this is a prime example on how not to umpire (letting a situation escalate) of course a queen such as urself would know this now wouldnt you

  • yea that pitcher has a right to be pissed off i felt the same way onec in a game but i was the 1st baseman

  • black ump, black batter, white pitcher, do i smell racism? if it was the other way around al sharpton and jesse jackson would have been on the next flight to that field....lol

  • it doesnt matter if he steps on the plate.. he can step on it as long as he doesnt hit the ball

  • you mad bro

  • this umpire sucks ass that pitch was right down the pipe.

  • Pitcher and manager should have been ejected for arguing balls and strikes (Rule 9.02a)

  • I would have tossed the pitcher, then I would have tossed the manager.

  • why is the umpire confronting the pitcher though? he's just asking for more...

  • @TheRealSKS not to be racist but it is true..... the umpire confronting the pitcher had to be black.... blacks have (for the lack of vocab, ill use) the aggresive gene, they naturally have to defend themselves or act all tough guy, Blacks have HUGEEEEE egos and they have to act like they are the biggest thing since Jesus. This might be racist but u cant tell me its not true... just watch black behavior, u will see the same shit. Some blacks can control it, most dont want to control it.

  • @Deadganon

Why do people put EEEEEEEEEE at the end of words to draw out the word? That says "hyoo-jeeeeeeee" ...do you mean HUUUUUUGE?

Sounds like you have the 'stupid' gene. You've never seen aggressive (spelled correctly) white people?

  • @ShadoeRedd I seen every race get aggressive and angry, etc, but u cant tell me blacks dont have some sort of natural enhanced type of aggression. Majority of blacks that i met AND see everywhere show me that there is more then just the normal aggression that humans have.

  • Whats funny is that if it were a black pitcher and a white umpire, everyone on here would be screaming racism, lol

  • First black guy in history who takes his job seriously.

  • @knack39

That actually was a rather good pitch, up and in, on a lefty w/ bases loaded. Now, if it was a close game, the pitcher is going to be very upset. I'm a pitcher, and my record was 10-2 this year. Those two losses ended up as a L because of inconsistent strike- zones

  • @imRaGEDout Get over yourself. No reason to tell us your record as a pitcher. The mark of a good pitcher is adjustment. Every umpire has a different strike zone and some are worse then others. Also, most umpires don't call the pitch that is up anymore. Rarely do you see the letters being called a strike even though it is supposed to be.

  • Funny! A pitcher that does that in the big leagues, would never throw another strike for the rest of the day. I don't care if it's down the middle, he won't call it a strike. You don't show up an umpire. Let your manager do it...IDIOT!

P.S. it was borderline anyways, & with bases loaded that pitch sucked!

  • is baseball the only sport where the coach wears the uniform? that is so fucking funny.

And I'm glad the pitcher got mad, big baby

  • thats the exact reason baseball sucks, the umps have way to much control over the outcome.

  • @paypaysmygirl nah

baseball is a good example of how umpire's/referees should act

a good umpire doesnt influence the game

there might be some bad umpire's yeah cant expect a good call 24/7

imho umpire's are better then any other referee like people

  • what was he lookin at.

  • Umpire following pitcher, then bumping manager. Worthless bum.

  • that kids is right on top of the plate

  • Baseball truly is the perfect American game. A whole lot of arguing about nothing. Fits our country quite well, sadly.

  • @killeraddiction "A whole lot of arguing and nothing." Sounds like YouTube.

  • @10sup10 That it does.

  • @HiyoriGirl1

you're only out if you come in contact with the ball, want prrof?

  • @HiyoriGirl1 false

  • Pitcher should have been ejected the moment he touched the plate.

  • as a pitcher i know how he feels, just finished state tourny for allstars and u wud think at tht point they wud start getting good unpires for the games

  • i think the pitcher was mad because the batter looked like he stepped into the ball which hit him

  • Wow!!! How did this guy let the pitcher stay in the game??? He should have been dumped by the time he got to the plate.. Then after he touched the dirt... Then after he continued to fuss... The manager did what he had to do to keep his pitcher in the ball game. PITCHER SHOULD HAVE BEEN DUMPED!!!!!!!

  • @bayoublue14 agree 100%

  • Ncaa fannable your an idiot you have to be 18 to ump

  • batter steped into the plate cant do that so he had right call to get mad

  • @Geturscopeon he didn't get hit by the ball

  • Bases were loaded so the batter stepped into the ball to get hit with it. Batter us still up even of he gets hit. You have to make an attempt to get out of the way, or in this case swing at the ball.

  • Wow terrible call that was a strike

  • @TxRangersfan210 it was a ball high

  • niggers can't ump, let alone tell the truth.

  • looks like a strike from here

  • what horrible sportsmanship to show the young kids

  • Bad call. it covered the inside of the plate and was belt high. ump shouldn't have called it a ball simply because the batter leans in to shrink the zone. Strike 3 or w/e in my opinion

  • kick both asses out!

  • rule 7.3.1 of the mlb rulebook states "If the batter leaves the batter box, delays the game, and none of the enumerated exceptions occur the plate umpire shall charge a strike to the batter." however, the misconception here is that both feet actually have to exit the box. i could see where his confusion was because he obviously was aware of this rule, but not to the entirety that he thought.

  • @MassiveTool2 but tht was not the mlb

  • @theflyersfan28 they are the rules of baseball. period. just cuz it was in the mlb handbook does not mean that it doesnt apply to all other types of baseball. that is like saying that since the mlb handbook states that if a player receives 4 balls then he walks, in little league you have to have five balls. you cant just change the rules of the game. substitutions are what can be altered.

  • Looks like the batter stepped on the plate at ;08, he missed thaht too.

  • @INDIANGURU69 wow your mad.. low lifes

  • That was a strike. Over the plate and chest high.

  • The guy at bat almost seemed as if he were trying to take a hit for the team.. Notice his front foot nearly step on the plate and he turns his back and head. Im on the pitchers side

  • the umps wrong because the batter was crouding the plate, it was a perfect pitch

  • strike and tha batter stepped on home plate

  • @benjamin975 haha yea

  • I umpire and i'm 14.. I get so pissed when coaches argue with me.. A night ago.. I was umping and the kid moved his hands over the plate.. I called a strike and the coaches were like "WTF are you talking about ump?!" All I wanted to say was, LEARN THE GOD DAMN GAME OF BASEBALL!

  • @NCAAfanable I agree, but its in all sports. I umpired when I was your age, and the hassle wasnt worth the reward. I also reffed hockey up until this year, and am stopping for the same reason.

  • @scott9002ca I get paid from it though, only way to take my girl to movies :I

  • @NCAAfanable my advice is to toss him.

  • Thats the loudest crowd iv ever heard from just getting a walk lol

  • ahh to enjoy competitive sports! it's all fun and games!

  • too close to call, who cares

  • black batter, black umpire vs. white pitcher, white coach = monkeys win

  • Bad call but the pitcher overreacted, the coach had to defend him, but the pitcher should have been tossed.

  • That's a strike

  • is the ump helen keller in disguise?

  • is the ump helen keller in disguise?

  • gotta love black umps

  • @cubbie2512 fucking nigger

  • #27 looks freaking HOT!!

  • @Bucky905079 anyways

  • @Bucky905079 meant to say #25 =)

  • Smart coach, saved his pitcher from being ejected.

  • @TyFrederick lol played baseball for 10 years and only learned that aspect of the game last year when Girardi got tossed saving one of his guys-- dont remember who

  • @TyFrederick more like horrible umpire for not ejecting pitcher.. u cant do that in any level

  • @Dllshockk well its not like the ump was any better following the pitcher back to the mound.

  • that pitcher is a cunt, umpire should have tossed him and the little coach.

  • youve got to be kidding me.... watch any other game and this is a strike. the catcher barely moves his glove and doesnt even frame it either. turning his glove was smart because it shows the ump a clearer zone of where the ball went into his glove. having watched a shitload of baseball i can vouch that its a strike 3 call and its not ball

  • @richyrich2336 so there should have been 2 ejections for arguing balls and strikes. regardless if it was a bad call you can't do that. that game is a joke.

  • Was this filmed with a rock?

  • no matter what level of baseball this is, all the way up to major leagues.. if a pitcher, or any player for that matter, would argue balls and strikes in this manner they should be ejected. The umpire should have immediately ejected him. The umpire is at fault slightly for things getting more out of hand because he went after the pitcher instead of ejecting him and walking away. He should have ejected the coach as well for his actions and not gotten in his face. Not handled well at all.

  • @ForTheWeekRocks Agreed, pitcher should have been ejected immediately, And manager also. Ump let that go too long and now he looks stupid when he could have had control immediatelty the pitcher got all fired up.

  • I can almost understand the pitcher's anger. With the bases loaded, the batter steps out of the batter's box (it even appears he is stepping on the plate!) in order to get hit with the pitch. That should NOT have been ruled as a hit-by-pitch. Watch the batter's right foot.

  • @monsivais96 because a bad call can make/break a team.

  • Nice coach, come out and defends his pitcher

  • a foot step on home plate is legal when swinging the bat. the only time its not legal is when squaring to bunt.

  • @PieBob1313 actually you can't step on home plate when making contact with a ball period. if you do, you are out. if a batter does not make contact with the ball when he steps on the plate, it is nothing. I am assuming that this is ball 4 and not a hit by pitch because the umpire never called time, which would have been called for a hit batter. Another thing that made this look bad is that the umpire stood up and turned as if to make a strike call. either way, the pitcher should be ejected!

  • Were the parents teaching the kid respect

  • The batter didn't get hit, morons. If he got hit the umpire would have called "DEAD BALL." It was ball 4. The pitcher argues that the batter should be out for stepping on the plate. HOWEVER, he's only out if he contacts the ball while stepping on the plate (or anywhere outside the batters box). the ball did not touch the batter. It was ball 4 and the pitcher is fishing for a call that he just made up on the spot. Good umpire.

  • @markscarpa nawww the pitcher was arguing that it was a strike. which looked like it was but cant really tell from the qaulity of the vid

  • @markscarpa Oh. You're right. At first I thought the pitcher had a right to be angry, but after reading your comment it makes sense. Thanks.

  • @markscarpa dude, hes arguing because it was a strike but the batter leaned in making it look like a ball

  • @markscarpa well said. Ive umpired ball for 6 years now, and its amazing what people will try to pull.

  • @markscarpa actually if u step on the plate during anytime of your abat other then between pitches your out

  • @markscarpa no umpire says dead ball....they call time, and give them first base.

  • @markscarpa he is complaining about the pitch being called a ball, he hits the plate because he was most likely screaming that it was over the plate and not a ball, so you are the moron

  • @markscarpa that pitch was a strike.... im a ump and i know that that pitch is a strike... if a batter moves in like that the strike zone doesnt move with him..... it was a good pitch but he is one of those douchbag batters who tries to make it look like it was close to hitting him by moving closer into the plate... Pitcher is right should have been a strike......

  • @markscarpa

"The pitcher argues that the batter should be out for stepping on the plate."

The pitcher is arguing that it should be a strike. He points out that he's stepping on the plate merely to illustrate that the fact that just because it is close to the hitter doesn't mean it's inside, because the batter is too close to the plate (or on it).

  • @markscarpa he actually would've called "TIME" , you never call dead ball, time kills the play

  • @markscarpa Nope.... the pitcher was pointing to where the ball crossed the plate

  • @markscarpa only if his foot is ALL the way out of the box and makes contact is he out....half his foot could be in the box and the other could touch the plate and he hits the ball into play and, its still a live ball

  • @markscarpa although your argument is a good one, thats not what hes arguing at all. i mean, seeing it on replay as many times as you want, you'll notice that foot stepping on the plate. its just that if you go back to the replay, look where the catchers mitt is when he catches the ball, and tell me that the ball did not go straight over the plate. the pitcher is arguing that the pitch was a strike in the strike zone

  • the call was inside and up...great call just terrible pitcher :

    D

  • Terrible call by the ump

  • Ok the game was probly on the line and the kid who walked probly sucked so coach told him to lean into the ball and either get hit or walk

  • Batter stepped on the plate as the pitch was coming across, should've been a strike!

  • @jtw5504 Where in the rule booksdoes it say if batter steps out of the box the pitch is a strike? Nope, not there! Only thing there... if batter makes contact with the ball while his foot is touching the ground completely outside of the batter's box, the batter is out. Time to read the rule book again!

  • ..pitcher didn't get ejected? after yelling, cussing, and walkin all the way up to the plate? wow

  • @stlbirdfan09 The pitcher was right. The ump just had to put on a show to cover up the fact that he made a shit call.

  • that ump should have never followed the pitcher back to the mound. extremely unprofessional.

  • I wanna go to one of these games

  • @LTB14y actually, there is no rule saying you cant just stand there and get hit

  • @MrIknowmyname Yes there is

  • @MrIknowmyname you have to make an attemp to move.

  • Ball inside..Good call

  • Real pitchers dont show emotion. Pussy.

  • NO ur place umpire! U BITCH!

  • People if you dont play baseball, dont make stupid comments on this video. If you dont notice, the pitcher is clearly upset at the fact that the batter didnt just stand there and get hit which is perfectly fine. But the batter leans into it. He makes a very obvious step closer to home plate.

  • respect for the coach

  • In order to be out when stepping on the plate, he'd have to swing and make contact, he didn't. BUT, pitcher should have been ejected and umpire was a bit combatitve!

  • @BestMusicExpert - He stepped on the plate in an attempt to get hit by the pitch. The right call is an automatic out.

  • @ArxVirtus Where in the world do you guys get these rules? There is NOTHING IN THE BOOK that says this! the only thing in there about trying to get his is that he stays at bat if he makes no attempt to avoid the pitch. Quit making rules up and learn the game!

  • @ILOVEUMPS If the batter steps into the path of the ball in an attempt to get hit by a pitch on purpose, it is an AUTOMATIC OUT. The fact that he stepped on the plate in this case means is illustrative of the fact that he tried to step INTO the path of the ball.

Google the phrase "intentionally get in the way of the ball" and click on the first link, fucker.

  • @ArxVirtus First link in google does not say what you are saying. I have umpired now for over 20 years. Google the NCAA rule book. Nothing in there about an out for stepping into a pitch. Same for NFHS (high school) rule book. I can care less what any other lin says because they are not the rule book.

  • @ArxVirtus Straight from the NCAA and NFHS rule books. "If the batter intentionally gets touched by moving or rolling any part of his body into the pitch and the batter does not swing, the ball is immediately dead; the umpire shall call a strike or ball in accordance with 7-4b and 7-5a." That means the ball is dead and is rule a ball or strike based on the location of the pitch as if the batter did not get hit. Call me a fucker all you want, I know the rules, and you do not.

  • @ILOVEUMPS Where does it say this is an NCAA game, buttmunch?

  • @ArxVirtus Are you blind? I said HS rules (NFHS) say the same thing. But since you want to argue... HS Rule 7-4-3 art 4. The batter shall not permit a pitched ball to touch him. Penalty: the batter remains at bat (pitch is a ball or strike) unless pitch was third strike or ball four (rule book page 43).

  • @ArxVirtus Now, where you are most likely getting confused is the rule regarding interference by the batter on a catcher fielding or throwing the ball. That is usually when the catcher is attempting to throw out a person stealing a base and the batter steps out of the box and interferes with the throw. It is not on the pitch itself

  • that was clearly a ball

  • and the pitcher wasn't ejected why? if a pitcher comes off the mound like that to argue balls and strikes he's done.

  • Very bad call. The batter stepped on the plate. Automatic out.

  • Out of the box, should have been out.

  • that kid steped in front of base to get a free walk

  • Looked high to me.

  • clearly high and inside, go ride the bench pitch...maybe wank off your coach for helping you out.

  • that catcher needs to get in front of his pitcher and keep him away from the ump rather than just let him freak out on the umpire. watch how he just steps aside

  • Its bc hes black...

  • ball

  • anyone who says you have to make an attempt to get out of the way of a pitch is a idiot. You just can't lean into it.

  • @MrIknowmyname actually weve been getting alot of those calls u cant just stand there and get hit

  • More like umpire gets pissed
