Wow! This is a match I have always wanted to see. I've heard allot about it. The Von Erichs were very big in the St. Louis, and the Central States area. When World Class Wrestling pulled out of the NWA in late February of 1986 it really hurt the Central States and other Regional NWA promotions that had been bringing the Von Erichs and other World Class Stars in on a semi-regular basis for years.
um.... this match doesn't take place in Japan. I don't think a Japanese crew shot the footage either. I think its just over dubbed in Japanese. The production values look like WCCW's. Look at the Flair VS David Von Erich match....
even 25 years ago, japanese camera work was tight and focused. i had the opportunity to be ringside for one of flair's title defenses against magnum ta. one hour of uninterrupted suspense. flair was amazing.

The inner demons that tortured Kerry prevented him from becoming one of the Greatest Wrestlers of all time...RIP Kerry.

@Midnightryder7 It's RIC not RICK. Flair is one of the greatest ever...as in top 2 or 3 greatest. Harley Race is up there as well.
