I never saw that part where two ladies rubbed the horse with the straw.. was that the horse that died two days later.. poor thing.. so cold and exhausted..

Yes, that horse died a few days later.

We just saw Animal Planet Houston SPCA on TV here in The Netherlands.

Those things happenes all over the world.

thank you, polderwijffie! Wow, that you get Animal Planet in Netherlands.. Oh, many time I am soooo embarrassed that many people here are so cruel to the animals.. I'll never understand why?? They should be shot for animal cruelty..

It has to be heartbroken for the ladies who tried to help the horse.. they did all they could.

Oh no, they didnot slaughter them.

Most of the horses went back to the owner.

He couldnot do anything about it.

@polderwijffie The horses went back to the owner an THEN he wanted to sell them to the slaughter. Animal protection bought them to save those horses and the rotten owner laughed his ass off.

They were the heroes of the year 2006.

It was their own idea, after several attempts to rescue the horses failed.
