The Scots used to be enemies of the English, mostly because they were very barbarian and territorial like, however the English could be said to be the same, didn't have as much of a Barbarian culture, but very territorial as we know from our Imperial days. I used to work at DeHavilland Aircraft in Toronto, where there were lots of expat. Brits working, Scottish and English, and I recall some of the English guys ask me when I came over from England. There has to be limits though. It's only a tiny island, that is unless people like the idea of building over all the countryside in order to both house & provide hospitals, jobs etc. for the whole of Africa, Asia & E. Europe.
