that depends. i like the slower speed. i like brawl better, and i like the 64 better. melee was great and i always enjoy playing it, but i think its the worst of the 3. not by much though. i like the slower speed because it puts the focus on mindgames and strategy, not reflexes and movement speed(which are not my strong suits). of course its a matter of opinion
