they dont import a lot of stuff because america has an embargo on them, and the two types of money are for the tourist and the cubans. the money tourists get are a lot more valuable than the currancy cubans get. 1 cuban paso is equal to 25 in tourist pasos. so if you tip them in tourist money you're paying them a lot more than you think. but i absolutely love cuba :) its beautiful.
