  • My family song!! Played at christmas, weddings and basically any family get together! Love it!

  • Love this album, it used to be a well-played favourite back in the old days and it has stayed with me, even if it's only in my head. Ahhh, the wonders of the web

  • I like to joke with people who've never heard of this band (and there's plenty of 'em) that these good ol' boys really had their Country-Rock down to a t, then I tell 'em that these good ol' boys were British. Some of the funniest lyrics no other Country-Rock band ever came up with ("Only barefoot librarians become vegetarians", "Everybody's readin' and I got no shoes on my feet/and that's a lot of lines to repeat."). If only their record companies hadn't been so inept at promotin' 'em.

  • Hang Me, Dang Me...I don't care who ya are...EVERYBODY'S HUSTLIN' SOME!

  • My older brother threw this album to me like it was a stray dog back in the 70's...best album he ever gave me! Thanks for the post!

  • This has been on e of my fav bands since 1971. They were paid the unheard sum of $500.000.00 to sign in 68!

  • What GREAT Sound

  • Only 1932 veiws!!!! Everyone post this band to your Facebook page!! Lets make em famous even if it was all those years ago!!!

  • Great! Thanks for uploading this one. This album is hard to get. If you got it, upload some more titles, PLEASE!

  • Nice one Paul you cant beat a bit of hang me dang me.X

  • The Double album - my favourite of all time. Still play that LP to this day.

  • I love this album - heard them on OGWT - then went and bought it. That's Chas Hodges singing (everybody's hustlin'), good bassist too. Funny how he 'went cockney' with Chas & Dave. I saw Them at Dingwall's, late 70's

  • @slideharp1

Me too - straight down to Bruce's records next morning. Been in love ever since.

Chas is a wonderful musician - not just bass - fiddle, guitar, banjo and of course piano. He was right in at athe start with Joe Meek.

  • @madaxemanbeer My copy's long gone, sadly - lost everything I own.Twice. I was able to get the second album "Tracks", which is a killer - and "Home from Home" which was meant to be the 1st album but shelved (albeit all finished and ready to release) when the line-up changed. HFH is all Colton/Smith compositions and is highly recommended - Great Stuff. Ray Smith's instrumental versatility and ideas, as a core player, finessed CH and AL's versatility in turn. A very multi-talented, unique band.
