My bot (not QueenBee bot - it doesn't work on Frets on Fire) failed on a custom song. It is We Three Kings by Steve Ouimette. There is no sustained notes - it gives more difficulty to a song. Will somebody say me how to take a video from the game? I'd want to place such video here.
OMG if u can do this with sum circuits and a game I would not like to be near u if u got hold of something dangerous and as the previous comment said u guys are LEGENDS
holy shit... man making a machine to play his games for him.. anyway, in the time you made the bot you could've made yet another Guitar hero Sequel ;). You guys are le-gen-dary!
WOW first time i think there are no such a bot that can use sensor to detect note but i guess i wrong your bot is cooler than mine my bot is takes hours to upload Through the Fire and the Flames note
Guys,i have installed Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, started the game , but when i click the buttons to follow the notes, theres no sound. I see the buttons pushed but no sound at all. I play on pc/keyboard. Please Help!
A parts list, schematics, and source code are available on our website. With a bit of electronics knowledge you could build one using that information.
I most say that was real stupid said. Of course it just was for enginnering fun! Or he would just record screen and say something like "TTFAF 98% OMG!!!" Please think before write stupid comments.
If you read our website, you would see that our bot name is derived from the deepBlue supercomputer. I have no knowledge of a person on score hero with the name deepnote.
hi its me again you aid you took it out i think i seee it still do it not to be lie a nnoying or anything but is there a way to make so it wammy not so fast or realy fast on just the starpower chords
Yeah, but they have to program any song they want to play into the guitar, which takes hours and hours for each song. Ours can play any song, without any prior knowledge. As far as engineering challenges go, our method is far more sophisticated.
Ive got to admit your bots extremely reliable, i made my circuit less cluttered and still hoped it would work, it didnt. Ive now gone back to my old design and it picks notes up perfectly, but the only problem is that i need to buy a guitar of my own for it, i need to buy a few more of these chips and it probably wont ever be able to pick up the notes where you have to strum up and down. But when ive got it done i'll definately post it on youtube, it may one-day beat yours, doubt it though.
hahaha the best thing i like about this is about 6:11 after the solo part it messes up on the chord, which is usually what happens to me when i play it lol
Today on ustream, DeepNote got 100% on ttfaf in practice mode. With a bit more modification and optimization to the code, I think we can get it to fc ttfaf in a real run. The reason deepnote missed on mostof the fast strumming sections here was because hyperspeed 4 was used, and not 5.
You might get better response from the sensors if you remove (or redneck it and just apply some electrical tape over the back of) the red LEDs on the rack. Also make sure you're using 720p or 1080p, most sensors are easily confused by interlacing. I see no reason why this baby can't do 100% with a bit of tweaking :3
hahaha, we'll see what happens, we haven't decided for sure what we are going to do. At the very least, there will probably be an instructional guide.
The bot is missing 1 at 1:37 ::DDD !!!! y can hear it

it checks brightness levels. See the other video of how it works.

Sure it can. It even uses an algorithm to determine the most intelligent time to activate it.

does this work on PS2 USB slots?
oldkingkole123 3 years ago
no, the x-plorer guitar works on xbox and PC only.
sciguy14 3 years ago
but what about modding a Krammer Striker (GH3 PS2 controller)
oldkingkole123 3 years ago
You could do this with any guitar hero controller. Inside they are essentially the same. The main difference is just the interface that it uses.

The price for it being able to play any song on demand.

Bot make misstake becouse it's created with sensor which we humans also have instead of 100% coded to only play ttfaf i most say real good job.

It's about as original as your name. Take a popular, mainstream game and use it as your name online. Clearly you are awesome and original.

you can turn it off, or change the frequency in the programming.
sciguy14 3 years ago
what about making a bot inside the guitar, and have like a button to push, wheter to 100% the song,or to have te person play the song
mikeyk777 3 years ago
that's basically what it is. There is an auto/manual switch on the guitar.
sciguy14 3 years ago
what about no sensors infront of the tv?
mikeyk777 3 years ago
The notes need to be detected somehow in our method.
sciguy14 3 years ago
but some some botes have the song charts already stored in the controller, they switch on the bot when the songs loading, and thats it
mikeyk777 3 years ago
Yeah, but they have to program any song they want to play into the guitar, which takes hours and hours for each song. Ours can play any song, without any prior knowledge. As far as engineering challenges go, our method is far more sophisticated.

Only one human has ever gotten 100% on this song. Our bot gets 99%. I think that is pretty good.
sciguy14 3 years ago

I bet a lot more than one human has got 100% on this song. That's not to say that your bot isn't amazing though, it really is.

The thing about this that amazes me is the fact that its actually reading the notes and isn't preprogrammed.

but awesome job on this.
CsS1337h4x0r 3 years ago

Its hard to see on the video but the bot actually got 820,000 points that run.

deepnote is joke on deep throat?
petitoeuf8 3 years ago
Well actually its name is based on DeepBlue, the IBM supercomputer, which had its name based on DeepThroat. So, yeah kinda.
sciguy14 3 years ago
too bad it cant 100% stuff well. plenty of humans have beaten those scores, but w/e.
its still cool. must've taken a lot of work...
