I had this song on the "Metal for Breakfast" Album. This song and album made our summer! /it was so fun, just like in the movie "Rockstar". We owned Saskatoon that summer. FUBAR
I used to have this song on a compilation LP called "Metal For Breakfast" this is my 1st time seeing the video....Ridiculous .......kinda funny....but the song still rocks! thanx 4 posting it!
OMG! I finally found this ! Holy shit...I love technology!! I don't know how we ever functioned without internet...I guess we did OK ! This song is hilarious!! And heavy!
Saw this ONCE when I was 7, on Nickelodeon's "Nick Rocks" video show. Thought I had imagined it until recently because I only knew the title and the bit about the van. Thanks so much for posting it!
I haven't seen this video ever! But I heard the song 28 years ago and I had the album on cassette, I lent it to my buddy cuz he wanted to record this song and i never got the tape back and havent heard it or been able to find the album ever again!!
Have it on cassette. I would love to have it on vinyl. Anvil, Saxon, Priest, Motor City Madman Blotto, LOVE IT!! I never met anyone else who owned that. Rock on brotha!
Great vid...funny, satiristic, yet has some quite good musicianship as well. Blue Oyster Cult's guitar player (Donald "Buck Dharma" Roeser) contributed some guitar solo work to this song. Looks like Roeser even cameo'd a few times in this vid as well:

I haven't seen this video since the early 80's. I was a wee laddy back then. Great memories. Thanks.

Hahaha! This is great! Singer sounds kinda like Glenn Danzig when singing the chorus.

One of the first videos on Much Music when they first started.
And I loved it (Most Metalheads have a sence of humor).

Me and my buds big fans eh!
Have you ever seen the video Heavy Meat shop eh?. SCTV I hate the queen....eh?
Anvil, with lips in mind sport some of this same brand of Canadian humor, in their music and on stage.
Being a Canadian Metal Head, poking fun at oneself is part of the cultural make up...if you can't take a joke... "It's ok if "They" don't get it"

2:38 - Riding motorcycle red shirt
2:48, 2:51, 5:04 - Guy watching tv and playing red guitar.
Looks like him to me.
