I thought boxers punched with a firm(straight) wrist; his looks slightly tilted upward. But I only know about Karate, so I'm no expert in boxing arts. But, another explanation could be that the thickness of his gloves give the illusion of an improper punch technique. Who knows, certainly not me. :D

also my father (let he rest in peace) was master of sports in boxing... So i know many things about boxing... After 2 years i dropped boxing, because for me it was boring and useless in real figth... so I start many other things, like Karate (got brown belt 2 kuy atm), Command Sambo (got now KMS) and Muay Thai so i think i know many about fighting... Boxing now a days has little to do with all the hoopla people say the sport is made out to be. blah blah its all about the defense and offense blah blah its the footwork and its like a chess game blah blah... You land one on the chin and its over. It takes as little as 300 lbs of force on the chin to say lights out. You swing wild at the right time and land it somewhere on the face essentially and you get the W.
