I've loved Space Mountain , but I had to between the Original & The Ghost Galaxy to stay . I'd say Ghost Galaxy , I was on the ride 2 days ago , and the front seats are the best . More speed and wind .

I remember in 2009 waz the 1st time I rode Ghost Galaxy. The beginning part with all the blue lites didnt happen, i thot wtf? I ddnt kno that they changed it for Halloween! I thot the Red Monster thing was dope! it's cool cuz you kinda feel like he's gonna grab you! Best ride ever! I recommend it to everybody!

I went on this ride for the very first time last year. I sat in the front (big mistake), saw the part at 0:48, and FREAKED OUT. I covered my ears, closed my eyes, and screamed really loud the entire time. It was hilarious but really scary. I will totally do it again this year!

i've ridden space mountain while it's been completely lit. It's scarier when you can see how crazy it is. It looks like you are constantly going to hit your head.

@iphoneuser1213 At the end of the night, when they are about to close, after the fireworks, if you are on the ride, sometimes the conductors will let you stay on, instead of getting out and running all the way around to get back on again, if there isnt anyone in line. By this time, they usually have the lights on for the last run. I have ridden on it with the lights on 3 or 4 times. I like it better than with the lights off.

Disney did a much better job with the halloween conversion on this than they do to a lot of other stuff. They really put in the cosmic horror instead of just cute trick or treat.

Also, very nice change to the My God It's Full Of Stars tunnel at the end.

im surprised to see everybody enjoyed this ride so much....

i just returned from disneyland with my mom & boyfriend, and we went on space mountain with large hopes, only to be extremely disappointed. we all hated it. the soundtrack really bothered my mom, my boyfriend was hyperventilating from everything, and i found it all in bad taste. it certaintly doesnt belong in the happiest place on earth.

i just like normal space mountain, normal music, normal visuals. would not ride again.

@MattsWorld95 I feel sorry for you. WDW's Space Mountain has an awesome looking queue and end-show, but it has a rickety old track and small cars. Sooner or later an accident is going to happen there. When the 2009 refurbishment over there happened. They didn't change or replace any track due to the recession. They had to cut back pay and the track didn't get replaced. Hopefully there will be another refurbishment there soon to replace 35 year old track layout with new steel track soon.
