why do these guys persist on talking about tiger 'lowering his head'? is not the reason he hits bad golf shots. he's been doing it since '97 with butch and he's won 14 majors doing so. the golf channel should really employ people who aren't just guessing about swing faults.

Man, he really spanked that ball. And yes, you can watch any swing of any good player, even with irons, the head drops. Every single time. But again, if you're an "expert", you have to state the obvious and try to make it significant somehow.

That drop is so bad, and Tiger is the only one who suffers from that. As if. Ben Hogan, the greatest ball striker of all times, lowered his head due to the squating action in his downswing and every single other good ball striker does the same. Just with Tiger its more obvious because his core muscles are so powerful. Look at any Hogan footage and pay attention to the lowering of his head in the back and downswing. @mousavsm What you just said doesn't make any sense. His bad swings are bad because they don't meet his standards. They are bad because they are not consistant. He can't hit the fairway with his driver. That's a bad swing. You need higher standards as well in regards to your own personal swing. Keep at it and you will FIND your own swing. Trust me. It took me several years to figure that out. Our swings are only unique to us. Just like we have our own finger prints....we have our own swing.

@SwingItLikeMoe I hear ya...I'm not too bad, I'm an 8 handicap. I just want extension like that and his swing, to me, is incredible whether it finds the fairway or not. I think you understand my point but thanks for the input. I've never gotten lessons but will do so this winter because I want to be a scratch golfer. Only my 7th year and I'm an 8 handicap so I'm ok I just love this guy!!! GO TIGER!

@mousavsm 7 years of golf with an 8 hanidcap is pretty good. Greg Norman was stratch after 2 years so I assume you're proud of yourself. I'm not giving you lessons just a little info. I've never had a personal lesson either, but over the years I've watched others and added and subtracted things from my golf swing. We all want the samething: a consistant golf swing. You're off balance in your swing because you are swinging too hard or you are on your toes or heals. It's not a lesson just advice.

He went too far past parallel , 1:06 the club is lower than his ear, which caused him to release the club far to early in the swing causing the left pull.

Miller was good because he had his Caddy read all his puts for him and stay behind them guiding them when they putted.

Until PGA made a ruling that prevented that. After that he was nothing!

That's why you see all the caddies move away from the golfer when he starts to putt.

For starters, that makes no difference standing behind the player while they put, what is the caddie gonna do, yell at miller in his backstroke to pull a bit to the left? Any help the caddie is going to offer is done before the players pulls the putter back. AND, even if this did offer some advantage (which it clearly doesn't) Miller and EVERYBODY ELSE would have been able to do it, so i don't see why miller would be at any more of an advantage
