I would assume lack of testosterone would not be conducive to wanting to be a lawyer. I'm sure they want to change all the homophobic rules but will sadly end up as hairstylists. Not to say that the world could use a A LOT less testosterone! Wonder what they're doing now?
Everyone with the gay comments need to grow up!!!! It doesn't matter if they are gay or not! If you don't like the video then don't watch it! Grow up! There's no need to insult others of their choices.
I'd rather you get in too much detail than not. You know it possible to achieve that without getting all cute with eachother. Save to eye-screwing for the bedroom dudes.
Oh look how optimistic and happy they look! How cute. Give them a year, then they will become bloated, depressed, have a drug/alcohol problem, and have no hope for the future - just like the rest of us.
@MrAlarconJ D= I'm not someone to carry on with the idealistic "upholders of justice" shit, but... is it really that bad? or are you just being dramatic?
Why don't you study the greatest law school secret of all... "Status" of the American Citizen... Or the 14a subject class citizen. Did you know that when the 14a was passed not a single united States State Citizen's citizenship was altered in any manner? It created a new sub-class citizenship... gave citizenship to corporations, but didnt change a single Constitutional American's Citizenship... So why do you think the Article 1 Section 10 Clause 1 contractual citizenship is now being pitched?
@tenglee2 No degree is the best, paralegal and criminology are both great but if you want more exit options, go into Business School and study either Finance or Economics.
Also, if you can't get into a Top 14 Law School, forget it, market is so saturated right now that only T14 Grads are getting jobs straight after graduation.
@tenglee2 I really don't think an undergrad major matters whatsoever. Also --Plenty of people are getting jobs outside of T14, don't listen to those people lol. Plus Obama will be gone by the time you graduate...
Hmm... So J causes X to sustain a trespass against her person through negligence. Is there a basis for a cause of action by X against J for a tort of battery? If so, is the cause of action to be brought in trespass or in case against J by X. What aspect's of J's state of mind vis-a-vis intent would influence possible imperfect or perfect defenses in a tort suit. Who would have the onus of proving J didn't intend to cause bodily interference against J?
I have an employment opportunity available at my company. It's a hip-hop record label; so, I am looking to build a street team of professionals to help me make my business a success. God they have it easy. This is what they get from a fused profession. In the UK we have a split profession. With a Solicitor and a Barrister. Law school is about using words and knowing what they mean, not to mention the emotions implied in them. Clearly, you haven't a clue about any of the above.
@pshinspections@pshinspections 1. i used my words correctly.
2. Until recently, in states with anti-sodomy laws such as Virginia, "firms said that they would not hire a gay lawyer," says Kemnitz. But in the wake of the Lawrence v. Texas decision in 2003, which struck down the state's anti-sodomy law, things changed. There are now 24 state and regional bar associations for lesbian, gay and transgender lawyers around the country, including in states such as Texas, Wyoming and Missouri.
An oathe to defend the constitution...HAHAHAHA only thing you will defend (in most cases) is criminals, or big corporations interests...which is pretty much just like defending criminals...and no i dont hate lawyers....i am becoming one myself....but this idealistic bullshit of defending justice and the constitution is ridiculous...some lawyers will defend that...but very few haha

disillusioned law newbies. i was the same the first few weeks...it gets old after a while. but you guys are confusing a law degree with bar exams. oaths and the rules of the bar have nothing to do with law school.
Jesse, Brian is actually giving interesting facts about the first week of law school. I think you like the sound of your own voice better than his. Here's your ticket, take a little trip to Shuttie Town and let Brian talk.
Law students are the biggest douche-bags in the world. The only thing that matters to them are grades... because grades lead to money. Now I know why everybody hates lawyers.
I don't study law but I love it and nearly did study it at uni. Yes, some students go in it for the money, but for most it's because they want to be a part of something concrete. For others, such as myself, they just found it and the history of it fascinating and want to study it with others who feel the same. What's wrong with choosing a subject that makes you happy?!
that's funny... you think the law is concrete. anyway, the subject is very fascinating but one thing you'll learn about law school is that it's not about the subject... it's about grades and exam taking ability, which is why you'll find once you're in law school, how miserable it is. it may sounds glamorous but in reality it has more to do with competition and less to do with the law.
haha! brian got screwed! he's just like me :( the crazy workload and the "ms. this" and "mr. that". that's how we refer to people outside of our section.. gotta love that "and now we move onto P v. D" and everyone's shuffling through their pages and then you hear your last name... uhhhhhhh..
you can do anything undergrad. I did Computer Engineering, and I did great in law school. Actually, in law school, I found that I used more what I learned in high school than undergrad as far as grammar, complex writing, arguments, words, et al.
College? pretty much anything,University ? Political science would be a great idea, and try to score high in the LSAT,the higher you score, the more chances you get to be accepted.

just curious... what law school you got to that makes you take an oath?? Good luck with finals... I'm engulfed in them right now, but i'm a 2L so it isn't as bad. late
Your law school had an oath-taking ceremony? Hmm. My applications had a constitutional oath on them, which I signed. But that was it. In any case, I wasn't prepared the first time I got called on (the first day of criminal law in my first year). I will never forget the feeling of utter embarassment. Good luck, guys. just curious... what law school you got to that makes you take an oath?? Good luck with finals... I'm engulfed in them right now, but i'm a 2L so it isn't as bad. late

Your law school had an oath-taking ceremony? Hmm. My applications had a constitutional oath on them, which I signed. But that was it. In any case, I wasn't prepared the first time I got called on (the first day of criminal law in my first year). I will never forget the feeling of utter embarassment. Good luck, guys. After the first year -- after the first semester, actually -- it's not bad at all.
