  • I'm glad that Human Revolution carried on the exceptional legacy of its predecessor. Lets face it, it could all have gone VERY VERY wrong.

  • like dis if u cry every tim.

  • This song is just great! Wonderful! Its like your dreaming.

  • getting a lot of "Sparkles" in this video. Audio sparkles that is.

  • Try winning an argument for the first time with David, on hard mode, without having bought the CASIE mod...

You'll be hearing this theme many, many times.

  • Every time I start up this game I let this track go on for about 10-15 mins and lean back and let my mind wonder. Amazing track, great work Michael!

  • This song now has 400 plays on my iTunes...I could listen to this all day....

  • i want this music to play at every single second of my life.

  • I've been looking for this! Magnifique!

  • one of the coolest game soundtracks ive ever heard. completely captures the tone of the game. this track is a standout for me.

  • This game is my inspiration for getting into mechanical and computer engineering. My goal is to build the next generation of prosthesis that will take us onto our own evolutionary path toward immortality.

  • @mycatisromeo Seriously!? same thing here. My goal is to find the perfect substitute for the organic muscular structure and act the came way when stimulated by electrical impulses sent by the brain. The crisis game was also pretty cool on how they combined nanotechnology with organics.

  • @killerhos I´m not sure if you have played the first Deus Ex game but in that game they are also working on creating nanoaugmented humans instead of mechanical augmented humans, such as Adam.

  • @Nekhet I have only played Human Revolution sadly so you probably know more about the game than me. But Human Revolution is technically the start of whole story. Nanoaugmentation are the best since it work's at the atomic level but having machines work together with biological material is pretty sweet like in Crisis. Although tit did include microorganism working with nanotech

  • @killerhos Well, in the first DX game, which is set 20-30 years after HR mechanical augmented humans are in danger of becoming obsolete due to the introduction of nanoaugmentation with the two brothers Paul and JC Denton acting as prototypes. You play as JC. Anyway, in DX1 the A.I. are much more advanced and play a more important role than Eliza Kazaan did.

  • @killerhos Two computers in particular; Icarus and Daedalus have (both created by the Majestic 12 although the latter has somewhat "rebelled" against its creators). I will not spoil too much, but let´s just say that these two A.I.´s are definitely not just some powerhungry humans toys. Not any more at least.

  • @killerhos Crisis?? Do you mean Crysis??

  • @Nekhet sure

  • @killerhos You know; you if you like HR you should really consider playing the first DX. Granted it is a bit old, but if you can look past that then I´m sure it would be a great experience for you:).

And eventhough HR is a prequel there are alot of things that would be easier to understand (and many more names to recognize) if you have played the first game. Of course there is always Invisible War but that kinda demands you have played DX1 beforehand..

  • @mycatisromeo Ambitious.

  • @mycatisromeo I doubt we would ever acheive true immortality. Nature always seems to find a way to kill us. Heck, even simple bacterials are becoming dangerous again.

Besides, being immortal is probably not as great as it seems. Would become rather boring in the long run.

  • @Nekhet I would actually like to watch the progress of humanity and teach everyone of our historic ways

  • @killerhos Easy to say when you are young I think. Anyway, if you look at the universe as a whole nothing is capable of living forever. No matter how old it gets. And even if you could eradicate process of aging, diaseases etc. you would still be vulnerable to other humans vices and cruelty. Homo Sapiens are not a friendly species.

  • @Nekhet there is a specie of Seajelly that has achieved immortality through creating itself a new body all the time. Since it is the same creature we can assume that it has kept its experience with itself, although it does not have a brain :\. But achieving immortally would mean to keep our conscience alive, not physical matter.

  • @killerhos as I´ve said: As long as we are in a phusical body like the one we are in now, we would never be able to acheive true immortality. But we could perhaps, as you suggested, find a way to "preserve" our mind by f.ex "uploading" it into something else, such as an artificial brain. We could literrally become computers ourself. And if something went wrong with that particular brain there would always be a million or even billions of copies of you.

  • @killerhos Think it´s too far out?? Hmm.. perhaps, but there are already scientists talking about it so.. why not?? Although it would most likely not happen in at least a hundred years.

  • @killerhos yeah, i always laugh when my dad keeps telling me that when he will grow older, he will clone himself, again and again so he will be immortal, but he overlooked the fact that his mind isn't transported to the new body, it would be like 2 identical twins, they will have separate consciousness.

  • @cheater30 If the clone gets to experience his life the same way your dad did, they would have the same way of thinking and conscience since the clone has the same reactions to certain events. If he was to keep his conscience through clones, the copies would eventually fail/corrupt due to the copy of a copy being created. The only way he could achieve immortality would be to remove or reverse the aging process in his body(found in rats) or possibly imput his conscience in a computer.

  • this is what i asked for

  • Deus Ex Human Revolution is a pretty cool guy. eh is a cyborg and doesn't afraid of anything.

  • @CaptJiggles Deus Ex: HR is the title of the game not the main character, lol:D

  • What is separating us from machines are morality and emotions. Take that away and you are no longer human but a mindless peice of dust floating around the world trying to survive at any cost. The AI in montreal had the capability to undertand and new the outcomes of feelings and emotions on humans, but she could not experience them herself. The only thing she could do was obey and provide infomation to the peron she is speaking to unless stoped by someone else.

  • @killerhos Exactly what you said. Also the music just fits to reading your comment.

  • @killerhos Buuut Eliza did show signs of developing an actual conscious about her actions. She even expressed regret about jamming the signal from Megan and her teams implants.

  • @Nekhet Eliza was very conscious about her actions since she was programmed with the capacity to know the outcomes of everyone's action towards the public. She regretted jamming the signal since she knew that without the scientists in good hands the world could crumble in even worst corruption. You make a valid point but there are multiple reasons for her apparent display of emotion. With the advance in technology, we can make AIs feel more human but they will always miss our instincts.

  • @killerhos Well, what is it exactly that creates emotion in humans and other species?? Is it some higher entity such as a soul or is it chemical and electrical signals in the brain?? Really, if, or when, we at some point is able to figure out how exaclty our brain works (which we haven´t so far), maybe we would be able to create an A.I. with the exact same properties as our mind. However I doubt that would happen anytime soon.

  • @Nekhet Chemicals, electricity and many other factors affect emotions and how we think. It is possible to create and AI that we respond from what it learns think of new things from certain way but that will be us that will have programmed it to respond with a certain emotion. To create artificial intelligence that works exactly the same way we do would take research in the devoloping of the fetus brain and a path from organic to mechanic would have to be created.

  • @killerhos Well, I think we only can create a truly artificial intelligence that acts and thinks just like a human the day we fully understand our own brain. Something which we haven´t accomplished yet.

  • @killerhos And I even doubt we we would have such an advanced A.I. such as Helios or Eliza 2030 to 2050.

  • Goosebumbs.

  • Tai Yong Medical all the way baby!

See the hot asians chick working there? HOT DAM they fine

  • Another Human Revolution theme heavily inspired (I don’t want to say stolen) by Djawadi’s soundtrack for the movie “Mr. Brooks”. McCann surely knows Djawadi’s great movie soundtrack, and he did a good job remixing (for the lack of a better word) several parts of it.

  • @ kAmi9teen8y5 Thats exactly what i waw thinking! For me this is the most memorable theme for this game.

  • 10 people Work for Tai Yong Medical

  • Booting up the game: THIS track, combined with that *ping* sound when i hit the -Start- button...

probably one of the most memorable moments in my gaming life.

    Gets me every. single. time.

  • @kAmi9teen8y5

Lol thats your best moment in the game/gaming life? Hitting the start button? Haven't you played the rest of the game?

    You're weird.

  • @spudnick3490 Hahaaa, 'course not! My comment didn't deliver, apparently.

The mood the track creates gets me pumped for the game and the 'ping' tells me:

"Now you gonna have LOZ OF FUNS!!!" -it's like foreplay ;)

(And yes, I have played the rest. I'm on my fifth playthrough :3)

  • @kAmi9teen8y5 I know that feel, bro.

  • @kAmi9teen8y5 I LOVE that sound. Thought it was part of the music at first. so perfect

  • @gamergeek I always try to time it right with the music :]

  • @kAmi9teen8y5 yup the start button ping gets me everytime.. like a chill throughout my body

  • @kAmi9teen8y5

    ahahahahaha, get laid seriously

  • @IllSk1llz

Because someone with the username "IIISk1llz" gets loads of pussy, right?

  • @dajman15

    seriously man, go outside.

  • @IllSk1llz

You replied within 2 minutes....and I'M the one who is supposed to go outside?

  • @dajman15

    What?

  • @IllSk1llz

Really? You didn't understand that basic sentence?

    Jesus Christ.

  • @dajman15

Hahaha. Why do you keep talking to me man? Are you that lonely? Please, fuck off.

  • @IllSk1llz

You should probably take a class in "how to insult someone 101."

  • @dajman15

Thanks for the tips. I hope I will be a great internet geekboy like you in the future.

  • @IllSk1llz

I am a geek. That stopped being an insult in the 80s.

Are you that old and yet still trying to insult people on the internet. Oh, the irony.

  • @dajman15

Hahahaha. Thanks for making me and my friends laugh.

  • @IllSk1llz

*He types while pretending his friends are next to him*

  • @dajman15

Hahhahahhahah. Oh man, thanks for this.

  • @IllSk1llz

If you actually are laughing at any of this then you and your "friends" mothers must have shit a bunch of retards.

  • @IllSk1llz You're a bit of an idiotic douche aren't you........

  • @IllSk1llz Nice. You don't have anything to say, and pretends to laugh along your imaginary friends. Awkward way of running away from the argument...

  • GAMING EVOLVED AMD

  • *enter Sarif Industries' headquarter*

  • Everytime i hear this, i always see that evil company right in my screen

    Square-Enix

  • Reading the news with this in the background makes everything seem vaguely sinister.

  • nice theme like to hear it with raining sounds

  • 7 people had VERY poor taste.

  • i dont care if i had the code to the computers, i would still hack them. It was that awesome.

  • 6 people work for Tai Yong Medical.

  • This is just called 'Main Menu' in the OST.

  • 0:20 gives me goosebumps.

  • This theme reminds me Inception so much.

Anyway, this smooth piece or art can make you feel sad and hopeful in less than two minutes. I absolutelly love it.

  • @Muppotronic I think the game and the soundtrack borrows alot from other movies but gave it it's own identity. The game feels like Bladerunner with a twist of RoBo cop and the setting tone of batman begins. And the soundtrack has both the feel of inception and batman begins but with its own flavor.

  • @greyfox129

It happens often: new ideas come from mixing up old ones most of the time.

And yes, the game have the feel of Bladerunner and that's one of its best points IMO

  • @Muppotronic Yeah IMO it think this plot is more better than Bladerunner. They could have explored the growing humanity in the character Rachael to make the romance with her and Rick Deckard more stronger. But they rushed it to quickly and for the most part the plot was boring.

  • @greyfox129 - Let's not forget the first Deus Ex; though the first game's soundtrack was more melodic, this one obviously borrows from the same soundscape - lots of arp and synthstring.

  • @MannPower First Deus Ex? What's that??? THIS ONE IS TEH BEHST.

  • @InJJWeTrust´I really hope you are joking. Don´t you know this is the third game in the series??:S

  • mich erinnert es jedes mal an das so geile spiel Splinter Cell ...

  • Lovely tune. Unfortunately a tad on the bittersweet side for me as I was hoping that HR might at least match DX1 - but sadly no. Some very good steps forward in gameplay - but ultimately a game like this lives or dies on its story, and the story just didn't grab me quite as much as DX1 did.

  • Why are some gamers acting like the Tech issues in the consoles are sever. Yes there are some frame rate issues but it's not alot and frequent enough to distract you. And guess what that can be fixed with patches as well so just be patient it's not the end of the world and it can be fixed.

  • Man who ever got the augmented edition is lucky. How long before they put the soundtrack in itunes? I WANT IT SO BAD!

  • @greyfox129 actually augmented edition has only 12 tracks. the game has more than 100 tracks

  • @cetaepsilon Sorry just creamed my pants. Did you say 100? good god that is epic news to hear. i jus hope they all appear in the official release.

  • @greyfox129 Most of the soundtracks such as the hive club trance wont be available on any release sadly. You just have to hack them. Check out deusex3soundtrack channel. He's uploaded 115 tracks from the game.

  • @cetaepsilon actually i found a shared folder online that has the entire OST. its a huge fucking download though.

  • @boethiah12 thanks I'll check it out

  • @cetaepsilon i dont remember where it was though. sorry. just look for it. im sure you'll find it.

  • I want to have sex with the game and the soundtrack. Its that good.

  • Greetings sir or madame, How may we augment you today?

  • @Raynor9X9

I read that with the vendotron from new vegas voice, wtf

  • i can't explain this "music". even if it is no music. it's just kind of self satisfaction. this songs make me feel bad and depressive, it is so nice to listen to that, thinking that we are nothing than poor humans, even if we would have these augmentations like in this game.

if i listen this song - i am more than just human.

  • 2 peoples augmentation didn't work out for them so they want a refund from SARIF INDUSTRIES

  • The more intelligent and up-to-date on 'real' technological issues and the human condition you are, the more you will enjoy this game.

  • One of the best games to come out this year despite a few flaws like the pointless boss battles and lack of side quests

  • @corrion1 and the shitty framerate at times

  • @Anubisrunner08 If you're playing on the consoles :P

  • @FatalNeurotoxin im tellin ya.. next time a games out which was made on pc n bein released multi platform, im gna get it on the system it was made on.. oni reason i got the xbox version was achievements... but unfortunately the ps3 n xbox ports suffer with tech issues.. more so in the city hubs

  • @Anubisrunner08 you sick xbox fag, I've ps3 version and it works just fine so wut's your prob, dude? :P

  • @Anubisrunner08

    PC games have achievements..

Just on steamworks and live, but ya know, Deus Ex is probably Steam works and you can still buy it straight off Steam.

  • the game is flawed. the gunplay is mediocre. the AI is retarded compared to games like splinter cell or assassin's creed.

    but the music is fantastic.

  • @yoobie I have a feeling like the game wanted you to be non-lethal.

  • @killerhos It surely do:)

  • @yoobie It does have a great story though.

  • His shades are augmented.

  • @EphemeralDaedalus This game has not failed us. It is the perfect creation.

  • @Dunthyon Totally agree. This game is a Masterpiece! Amazing Soundtrack, Awsome action packed game play that switches back and forth between FPS and third person, and an Amazing thought provoking Story line with a Serious message about the future of Humanity. This is the ONLY game that can ever be put in the same category as Metal Gear Solid.

  • 2 people are with Purity First and they cannot stop the future!

  • I recieved a Sarif prosthetic, and my typing abilite's mever neen betrer!

  • 2 people have poor taste.

  • Comment removed

  • 3 people have poor taste.

  • @onelifelived i can expect that comment coming from a 12 year but from the owner of the video? that is pathetic.

  • @onelifelived rofl

  • @0MrFusion0 Sure is.....LOL Oh an uploader: Keep YOURS warm too.

  • @0MrFusion0 what if he is 12 =/

  • @mtfashley pfft.. well obviously a 12 year old would be playing cod instead >_>

  • I just want to fly. if machines can help with that then augment me beatch!

  • For me, when music triggers the emotions in this way, "half the job is done" when it comes to movies and games like this one. When you've get me teary-eyed before I've even started playing, you're doing something right. I don't think this game will disappoint, from what I've seen and heard. The original Deus Ex has the nostalgia factor working for it as well, but I think this will be a good experience, perhaps on par with it. I sure hope so, at least.

  • 0:19, Chills every single time.

  • @ViperEye 0:58, Chills me every single time.

  • Not to stroke fears of a futuristic dystopia but i hope a deus ex future is our future a day where we can augmate ourselves to do almost any task, run faster, lift twice our bodyweight...download our memories and brain functions, make us immue to some dieases. In some ways scientist have already created these things..and yes the religious nuts will go all terrorist on us when it happens

  • @Dumpstermuffin1 Actually scientists are already working on it, although it´s still very very early in development and mostly their focus are on developing methods to make adavnced prothetics, restore deaf and blind peoples hearing and eyesight etc. But still, you have to start somewhere. And yes, some people will object to it, but religious nutcases also believed the telephone and moving pictures were the work of the devil back in the beginning of the 20th century.

  • The website was and still is awesome viral marketing. And like EphemeralDaedalus already said, McCann delivers epic OST :)

  • when i saw the site i thought this stuff was real then i figured out it was a game lol

  • People arguing on behalf of Sarif Industires and Purity first. Wow, This games storyline goes pretty deep.

  • i hope DX:HR storyline is better than the first DX, or equal at least.

  • 18 DAYS GUYS

  • @Dimrain48 17 days too long damnit! Heheh!

  • Amazing song!

  • Everytime I get into the menu I have to stay for a while listening to this :3

  • So fucking stoked for this game

  • @Snorintauren Don't want to sound like a know-it-all but just want to give the human brain some credit! Also, imagine once they are able to create and integrate neural augmentations into the human brain, we'll have the best of both: amazing multi-threaded AND singular processing.

  • SARIF INDUSTRIES ARE TRAITORS TO HUMANITY! PURITY FIRST! SECRET MIND CONTROL & MILITARY AUGMENTATIONS ARE HERE TO CONTROL US! LOUD NOISES!

  • EMP..... nuff' said

  • @AMissfiredGun Sigh... I guess you dont even know how a EMP works do you?. 1st EMP's only works on circuits. 2th Circuits can be easily be reinforced. Like if their would be an emp bomb on newyork. Only old computers from before 1980 would fall off as small electric deviced dont use circuits. And vehicles are petrolium driven. (MW2 is total BULLSHIT). And then again circuits can be easily reinforced. So that EMP's doesnt work at all. Get your electromagnetism (and general physics?) straight.

  • Love the theme. It has a certain sort of atmosphere to it that is a mix between caution and uncertainty, but also... almost relaxing and enlightening. It is hard to explain.

And to add in my two cents about computer's overtaking the human race... Computers already have the capacity to process information at levels humans could only DREAM of.

Look at Deep Blue and Watson, super computers created by IBM. Computers are already smarter than us, they just can't think or form a collective conscious.

  • @Snorintauren Mooo!

Just wanted to add: There is a slight difference between the two forms of information processing though. There's singular information processing (ie. like focusing on task that requires quick, repetitive actions or memory recall) and there's multi-tasking processing. Like you said, computers are far beyond us in terms of singular processing but multi-tasking the human brain is still light years ahead of anything.

  • @Max0Inq You babble, machines have emotions and heres why:

    Cameras-extention of human eyes

    Legs-Cars

    Brain-Computer

All extentions from us, we give these things meanings because we want to be perfect

Humans could not write perfectly so we invented the typewriter which is perfect, why? we want it

We give desires to these "machines" HELL we are machines

See how you go about your life daily without questioning it? you do this to yourself

-PS you misspelled "lose" and "think" and "sense"

  • Beautiful theme...seriously the more I hear of this soundtrack the more I think it will soon become my favorite ever.

  • This is the future...

We will one day have a choice to become something more.

Maybe we will become less human... but more humane.

It's a dream slowly passing to reality. I just wish i'll be there to see it.

I've not played any of the previous games but this one has trully amazed me.

  • @kiki905 dont worry the whole augmentation thing will probably happen in the next 15-20 years

  • @thegreenghost1000 Nah man we're skipping right to the nanomahines.=D

  • WoW what a wonderful Theme!
