Pros who hunt them do so for food not sport. They also do humane quick kills using a spear. Thats a spear. Not an spear gun. (Think fishing using a GPS.) They dont rip it apart or hunt small. They also are so quick the octo does not ink. (Ink ruins the taste. So I have read.)
