Am I the only person who thinks that judging the guitar under ths sound that web cam mic has recorded is not a good idea? I own this guitar, by the way. It's nice. It's totally worth the price.
i bought my first guitar when i didnt know anything about playing, and i just choose this one. im so lucky it stays in tune and plays so beautifully! :D
@MrTambourineMan1960 thats your opinion and i respect that. however, some of us can see beyond a name and a pricetag. ive had $300 ibanez rg's that played and sounded better than high end gibsons, fenders, and esps. its all in tone woods, setup, and construction. yes. gibsons are nice. but i can think of much better ways to spend $1000
Have you heard the Gibson acoustic Slash plays? NO, because Slash (a name now synonymous with Gibson) doesn't go anywhere near a Gibson acoustic, they're simply inferior overpriced sound boxes. He plays GUILD acoustics, part of the fender company...
@DURecords i know. everything about this video is pretty horrid. not trying to make excuses, but i had just picked the guitar up again after a few years recently before making this video, and i never have been a great player by any means. lol
a "beautiful, wonderful" guitar, that you're "probably selling", followed by that, um, "music", and you hid your face? Dude, just admit this guitar is crap - you'd be doing people a favor that way.
@kermitneville I have this guitar in black and it isn't crap. It's actually a really good guitar, the fact that he doesn't know how to play doesn't mean it's a bad instrument.
I started out with a POS Mitchell, then bought a Finder Kingman, sold both of those and got a Taylor GS5. Once you get into the all solid wood body guitars, you'll never even look at an acoustic with laminate back and sides again. Fender does make great starter guitars though.
@sc12100 yeah. i thought that the cheap takamine i have now was great, but picked up a martin. cant remember the model, but i know that i definitely fell in love
@bngreen89 Im gonna get a Martin one of these days as well. I like Martin's dreadnoughts and OM models. The GSs are probably Taylors best line of bodies and a lot of people like their dreadnoughts as well, but I think their Ds are a little soft as far as sound. Definitely does not have a warm tone like Martins Ds. Check out Taylor's GS models if you get a chance. Im not saying you'll like Taylors better, but I think you will like them as well.
@sc12100 taylor's play great, im just more fond of martin's tone :], however if i could afford one, id buy a taylor baby grand auditorium in a heartbeat
hi would you reccomend this guitar? i'm seriously planning to get an acoustic, i moving from classical to electro acoustic and was planning to get this, a cort mr170 or a yamaha apx 500
, could please reccomend me some guitar up to 320 euros? maybe some takamine or something?.....
@pastorkev777 i know that coment wasnt directed at me, but seagull acoustics are very nice. lately ive become a fan of takamine's and martin's though. also blueridge guitars are amazing players
@Matinee909 to be honest, i guess you could say that this is more of a demo than a review. when i made this i didnt know very much about the technical aspects of guitar, and have since sold this one, so i cant tell you a whole lot about it. playability was excellent, (mine at least) had a neck with that nice fender feel and low action, i never had any problems with any of the hardware, and it was a tad bit on the heavy side being a full size dreadnought, however very well balanced.
@Macisaac29 yeah they are. especially for the price. i wish i still had mine, but i ended up trading it for a stratacoustic and some cash, as the sonoran is too big for me to play comfortably.
I have just ordered one of these....im waiting for it to arrive. Is that the blue or the silver? I was having troule choosing a colour but went for blue in the end.

I'm looking for a review so I can decide whether to buy the guitar or not... still can't find one.
I already know what harmonics are. Playability? Sound? Action? Tuning Pegs? Weight? Balance? Input Jack? Pickups? Pickup Controls? Nut? Bridge?
