I loooooove the shimmer cubes. I've got them in palette 6, and whats great is that you can use them on your eyes, cheeks and lips, cuz they contain marula oil wich moisturizes your skin :D

i hate the shimmer cubes!!! i bought them for 30 bucks, i loved the colors, i got home tried it, and the glitter is so chunky, man, if you get thatin your eyes watch out! it hurts so bad, i rubbed my eye raw, it took all night to get it out and it hurt, the nextday i returned this crap and I will NEVER buy this again.

There are a few early 90's Body Shop make up products that were awesome. I worked in a mall directly across from the Body Shop so needless to say I spent a lot of time and not as much money (thank you mall discount). Hoping they bring back their bronzing stick/tube - it came with its own brush. Also, ages ago I got a multi color eye shadow palate back then it was in a gold tin case.

I have a porcelain complexion that I like, although in the summer it gets a tiny bit darker and the body shop bronzing pearls in the lightest colour give my skin a really nice shimmer. Most bronzers make my skin a horrible orange colour but the Body Shop bronzing pearls don't do that and complement my skin colour.

I'm always surprised at the Body Shop make-up. I usually go in the body shop for a moisturiser, but come out with make up because I try it on and it's always beautiful and top quality.

I really love both shimmer wave (i have the bronze one, recently though LOL)and the bronzer beads..its so good,my skin looks healthy ant tan whenever i wear these products.

I am a makeup specialist with The Body Shop and the best way to apply it is to dot a little bit on a damp sponge and then dab it onto your cheeks-- instant rosy flush!!-- if you apply it directly fr the tube to your cheeks it will set super quick and you wont have time to blend. For lips, just apply like a gloss, but don't press your lips together until it dries (if you press the color will deposit more on the edges of your lips which looks less natural). Have fun!!

I love the colours of the shimmercubes (have 6 & 7) but I find that the colour pay off of the lighter shades isn't so good and some of them are really tough to blend.

i've got the bronze shimmer waves ,, they are fantastic ! ( some ppl don't know this but you can add the colors from the shimmer waves on to a gloss / a clear one by my chose .. and if u add it over either one color or many blendid it will look awsome ,,, try it)

I just bought one of the shimmercubes and i'm in love! they are just adorable!! and i used some lotion as a primer and it stayed on with no creasing. and the colors are so cute

i'm a huge huge fan of Body Shop as well... but how do you manage keeping your shimmerwaves looking brand new? I've got the bronze and pinks (blush) and the waves, basically.. became one solid colour :) here we don't have the apricot, peachy version, grrrr ..

i lways thought the e/s wouldnt have staying power. but for shimmer try the shimmer brush that you click to release the product. its so good!

no probs! theres a bronze or pink one but sometimes they can be shimmer overload but use a little on your face or eyes, its so pretty!

Your eyeshadow looks stunning! Did you use the shimmercubes for this look? I'd really love to know which colors you used! I actually work for The Body Shop as a sales associate in the U.S. Everytime I do a makeover on someone, I go for the shimmercubes, simply because they are SO pigmented and all the colors in the quad compliment each other seamlessly. Anyways, GREAT review!

Thanks! This is actually the previous tutorial, the Sweetscents pink and grey look. But you could use the pink and grey from "#08" shimmercubes. I will be using the Shimmercubes in a video very soon.
