I can count on one hand a speacialeffects shot in that that wasnt from a film riot tutorial. Good Job, keep it going, but get creative. Was there a reason as to why he's a psycho killer? Just take your time. If you're just starting out, you have ten minutes. Write nine pages. Also If you plan to do another "In the dark w/ a flashlight" scene again use something white or shiny to bounce the light of the FL back onto the subject so the audience gets some profile of him.

Very impressive for your age. The knife throw and stabbing effects were great. Sound effects were good, except the last gun shot comes in too early. Have you checked out FilmFights(dot)com yet? It's a great place for developing filmmaking skills. If you guys keep at it, you'll be way ahead of the game. I just barely got into filmmaking about 2 years ago, when I was 26, and you're already doing more advanced stuff than when I started. Keep it up! Oh and did you make the ActionFilmSlate intro?

Your effects and acting are surprisingly passable, just some minor flaws. The lighting and framing needs work, but that will get better with experience. The scripting and storytelling is your weakpoint, try to come up with a good story and imagine it in your head before filming.

Other than that: Ignore the haters! You are young and the most important thing is: Make movies! Lots of movies!
