  • My father was a devout Christian, and when dying of cancer, as he lay in bed we heard him singing constantly - "My Saviour first of all". His profound faith overwhelmed us all. We sang it at his funeral, and I look forward to listening to this one day without the bitter tears.

  • I am legally blind myself with light perception, a christian and a singer too. I love Fanny Crosby music and sing it a lot. I love When I meet my Saviour first of all as it is true what a sight on that morning, my Saviour first of all. Jim

  • There is something in the realm of Gods Glory that is not made by the hand of God. Just one thing and that is the nail prints in the hands of our dear Lord they are the marks that shows the depth of love that the Good Lord has for all of us, for our sin was placed on him,He took our punishment and in return to all who put their trust in His Cross and the love of God those who are washed in the blood of the Lamb He gives us not just life but life in abandance.

  • Dear Mr. Hoover, first of God bless you. I thank God for reserving faithful people for His glory. Wishes to you all for spending quality time to praise the God of Heaven and Earth, the God of Isreal who died for this world through His grace I am and many were/are/will be saved. Amen. Paul from Singapore

  • Wonderful! Oh how I love the old hymns! Could you do me a favour? Whenever you post something, please say on the side what DVD it's from. Sometimes I go and buy them then. Thanks. You're a real blessing to me.

  • Crosby was never bitter about her disability. At the age of eight she wrote these verses about her condition:

    Oh what a happy soul I am,

    Although I cannot see;

    I am resolved that in this world

    Contented I will be.

    How many blessings I enjoy,

    That other people don't;

    To weep and sigh because I'm blind,

    I cannot, and I won't."

  • This song says it all.....thanks for sharing. :D
