When Jack Layton was on the campaign trail this year he singled MMAR patients out of the crowd, for their obvious use of medicinal cannabis, and made a special effort to meet them, greet them, and chat. A true hero in my books and the embodiment of what a good politician should strive to emulate: Humor, compassion, understanding, and inclusion ~ not arrogance, ignorance, oppression, and persecution.
